Regarding sheridans, it just wasn't the place for me after doing the one shift I decided I didn't want to go back.

It is, but only she will know the reason why she feels it is better there now than then but a lot might be due to female owner rather than a male owner
This is the same some girls feel more comfortable with female photographers etc

Sheridans is a really good place to work it's clean, well run and as a easy going atmosphere and Nicola as done a fantastic job, I just genuinely enjoy my job and working there is actually one of the best parlours Iv worked in. A lot as changed since Nicola took over it looks great inside and there are lots of new girls, btw love the family guy pic
