I'm going to chime in on a similar experience to the op, I booked her, exchanged numbers, spoke and she seemed very genuine. I wasn't going down to her she was going to meet me in Newcastle, asked for a small deposit as a guarantee claiming she had made the trip a few times to be let down. I was suspicious but thought ok I'll take the chance as she looks like the type of girl I would go for and seemed genuine in all contact I had with her. Made the deposit and then no reply all night. Got a reply a few days later with excuses, tried to give her the benefit of the doubt seeing as I had made a small payment already, again excuses, time wasted and now no longer replies. It's a shame as I would have loved to see her if that is genuinely her, she may have met some people genuinely and may have had her reasons for not going through with our booking but I feel there is no excuse for not even simple reply and a refund of monies paid in advance. I guess take from that what you will guys but for me it's a harsh lesson learned.
