From what you say, this suggests its not really someone from here as if it was they would simply say to her. "I am .... from UKP, look at my posts".
By saying I am friends with .... on UKP means the person is not from here at all, and is just trying to name drop and has seen your posts and found you came across as someone trustworthy/respectable etc that would make her feel ok to see him due to being friends with you.
