If you spend enough time in Chinatown it will be offered to you sooner or later. Haggling over price with a new girl is all part of the routine and why shouldn't they start at a rate that they know some tourists and travelling businessmen will happily agree without blinking. Not sure if that comment was in reference to what I said about not letting the girl leave the room but if so, just to clarify....
I didn't prevent her in a forceful way it was merely a case of sitting in the edge of the bed near the door and putting my shoes on meaning that whilst doing up the laces meant that she couldn't open the door enough to leave. I don't have a local accent so they usually try the tourist prices on. I just tell them I live here and am not a tourist, please tell me the real prices! That usually gets a laugh and they then get real.
