I fathomed that when I watched it. Was curious as to what the fuss was about and honestly I'm still curious as to what the fuss was about.

That's about right, as it's something that is built towards as you become more proficient and get to understand each others wants/needs. If you can get regulars like L & LK that want to explore/enjoy the boundaries too, it makes this punting hobby very satisfying.
