Author Topic: How far do you think is acceptable to travel for a punt? (Read 5097 times)

Do you have a limit of how far you will travel, for e.g. if you were living in London and the East Anglia, would you travel up to Manchester, Liverpool etc for a punt or only save those punts for when you're intending to visit for other reasons, i.e. visiting family, friends etc?

I used to travel as far as necessary. My first punt was in Liverpool which was a 240 mile, 4 hour journey from London for me and I used to go to Heathrow quite often which is around 60 miles and a little over an hour. All seem too far now. I tend to stick to central London but when I think about it many punts while less than 20 miles away still take around an hour to get too but there isn't anyone local that i fancy.

Horses for courses.

There's a formula, the better the girl, the further I'd go. It tends to be self limiting due to being able to have a reasonable excuse to be away from home, also more than about 4 hours each way I'd want to have an overnight stay. I don't think I'd have an upper limit as I like travelling to different places and you get to see the country as well as the cunt!

I have travelled 3 hours each way to see Peaches in MK and the same to see Emily Jane in Nottingham.

There's a couple of girls in Manchester and Liverpool in my HL, that's a couple of hours each way.

My first punt was in Prague, so that was a fair distance!!

I live in a bit of a punting desert, so travelling is necessary. I'll travel an hour for a shorter punt, a couple of hrs for a 2hr party.

I'd travel much further if cancellations weren't so common. It's one thing travelling for an hour for a good punt, quite another to travel an hour to be stood up when you arrive. As such, I try to limit travelling time as much as possible.

I have had my eye on this one since she was mentioned in the best tits thread. She works from Edinburgh and I live in the Midlands - so far it has proved too far for me to go!!

Generally these days a punt has to fit it with where I will be anyway, so short detour only. In the past I have driven a couple of hours.

Partly this is due to me new spy like security measures - I want a reason to be there in case I am seen, get a speeding ticket etc etc.

Yes. That's been a big factor in me becoming a semi retired punter. At one point I'd travel to a city for a two hour punt, booking in a hotel and staying overnight. Yes, I'd do over things while I was there...but wouldn't have gone there without booked punt.

You'd think that you wouldn't get that many late cancellations with a 2 hour punt...but my gut feeling is that it happened to me about 20 percent of time.

I travel 80 miles to punt, good train service though so I arrive relaxed in comfort, no parking or speeding ticket worries.

There are 2 AW girls in my town but that seems too close, for security reasons.

Has anyone here booked an overnight, and if so, what are overnights like? Do you just fuck and sleep, or do you go out and socialise with the girl in question? The thing is, i think i would rather do an overnight with a particular girl if i'm staying in the area, as you would be too knackered to fuck for, say, a whole weekend with different wgs, no?

Yes I do, I wont travel more than about a 60 mile round trip to punt but fortunately I don't need to being based in London.

As to what is acceptable to travel for a punt, that's entirely the business of punters obviously.

Yeah i'm going to, but i'm just curious. There are too many to choose from outside my area that i find hot, so would need to spend a lot of money to get there and punt. Where i live is pretty scarce of good wg's

although there's a couple that sound okay but they're in their 40's and 50's. I want to pick the right ones, which unfortunately is hard to do with the lack of option here. This is why i am asking about travelling to punt, because I might go to Manchester for a weekend with enough cash to spend on a few punts or an overnight.

Yes, he keeps starting threads, but like this one doesn't share his own experience, probably because her doesn't have any. Anyone with experience would ask the question and then tell us how far he had travelled. Still waiting for him to post a review of losing his punting virginity with the foursome that he was looking to arrange (combination of two threads he started recently, one asking for advice on setting up a foursome with three WGs and one a short while later admitting he hadn't actually punted yet!!!). Timewaster.

I explained above why i haven't yet; not enough quality in my area. I just wanted to know about the 4some for future reference, but yeah i agree i do need to start punting ASAP! I will start punting very soon once i've found a wg who is to my taste.

All the good WGs are at least an hour's travel away so I've no choice.

As for overnights, I offered a WG over £1000 to come to my home. She agreed but only if I sent her travel money first!

For me its important to jeep disappearance time to a minimum, so I tend to favour those who are only a short detour off my commute. Fortunately my favourite is about 15 secs off my route!

quick answer, it's not rocket science.
WGs don't want timewasters and a new profile with no feedback has a higher chance of being a TW than someone who has several good feedbacks from established WGs.
If the WG is popular then they don't need to accept bookings from anyone they choose not to see, so a "naice" phone call is more likely to elicit a good response than a texted "fncy a shag up yr arse"

I work on the 1 hour drive scenario, that's an hour drive, an hour punt and an hour back. That fills my windows with some cheeky over run time allowable

That's roughly what I do. I'll drive an hour for an hour's punt. Any further and 1. She has to be well-established, well-reviewed, fit as fuck and worth it and 2. At least a 90 minute punt.

Last one was an 84 mile round trip.

I also have to start factoring in petrol costs. That's what comes of driving an old BMW. Apart from it making me a cunt. Allegedly.

Thats true, although the girl in question had decent fb on AW, (but nothing on UKP) the comms leading up to it were good.
I texted when I left home and got no reply so had to make the decision whether to go or not travel and risk being branded a time waster. As it happened, I'd booked a ticket to go and see The Imitation Game as I missed it when it was in my home town so the day wasn't completely wasted. I also pushed the boat out and had a really nice lunch and was still over 100 quid up!

I often travel 200 mile round trips to see wgs I like. South Coast, Gloucester, Birmingham. I am setting off tomorrow for instance to the South Coast to see the lass I think is the most sexy and naughty at the crack of dawn. The one place that I want to punt in is Bristol so I will be doing some research this weekend to who I should see when I am down there.

+1 as it gets harder to explain the further you are away from home turf. Punting is about the only meeting i'm never late for. Avoids the need to go above the speed limit. And i do like to reccy the local area for parking etc on the 1st visit. My limit is about an hour - although i try & arrange trips so that visits can be like 1/2hr or so out of direction. Pays to have a map in the car to work this out rather than relying on SatNav. And this provides cover as easy to then mention the Mxx motorway was slow as some hold-up etc
Have a couple of more expensive targets on my HL so am prepared to travel further as a one or two off. But no more than two hours
My shortest trip was literally 50 metres. Was staying in Manchester centre overnight - had booked hotel online. I had pencilled in a visit to Bentleys massage emporium as open all night & easy to pop in after a bizzo evening. Checked on google maps & by chance literally round the corner. How lucky is that !

This is why I won't go far anymore. Too many flakey woman out there. To be fair I have almost retired punting in the UK as I seem to get more reliability, enjoyment and value for money abroad. Although when the opportunity arises in the UK again I'm sure I will dive straight in.

Typically travel 10-20 miles for punting, pretty well located. Wouldn't punt in my town, too risky...even where I work is risky so I haven't done it there since I began.

I stopped off at Leicester on the way to a weekend party at a friends house in Sheffield, so thats the furthest I have done. I realize I like this hobby a lot, travelling + shagging beautiful women, works well for me so I plan to do a day trip for my next punt, make a day of it and see if I like it. Wouldn't travel any further than 100 miles though....

In the UK I would just punt close to me in the south of London, then at the beginning of this year I pushed the boat out and punted in west London, two weeks later I was in Coventry, and next month I will be in Birmingham

By the end of the year I will probably be in the Orkney islands...or Falklands

But then saying that I have traveled for years to Amsterdam just to punt (yes bad VFM I know). Ironically I still go to Amsterdam a lot mostly for business, but still make sure I find some time to do real "Business"

Furthest I'd travel? I just looked it up, from London to Manila is 6,666 miles. I'm off in a couple of days, can't wait. Admittedly, that's not the same thing as travelling to a punt but even so, it does show the lengths that men will go to.
