Loving Leah Ipswich SCAM

Made a booking this evening, arrived at flat and an asian guy approached me claiming two girls worked for him and asked for money upfront. I know I'm a fool but I paid him, couldn't get into the flat and realised that the texts I had received from 'Leah' were from him.
I've marked it up to experience,and don't need anybody else to point out I was an idiot.
Warning signs I later realised on texts were constant messing about with meeting date/times, I wanted a half hour, he asked for an hour, didn't answer phone, only texts.

I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but you really need to start doing a few simple checks before booking.
For example the use google images would have hopefully made you kick these scammers into touch before you even contacted them External Link/Members Only

Well done for posting this negative review. It is far too easy to say you should have told him to fuck off or punch him in the face so can't blame you for coughing up. Let's hope this skank is put out of business as a result.
As a matter of interest, do reviews about scammers automatically get reposted by admin to the scammers list? May be worth emailing admin Namaste56. Don't want others to get caught out.

Thanks for your comments. I wasn't aware of the selfie website before so that's good to know for the future. I alerted AW and an authenticity alert was put up almost immediately. I see now that the profile has been removed.

Rather than reporting the scam to Aw, I would've made another booking using a different name/mobile number and then lamped him!

I don't necessarily disagree but it wouldn't be my top priority....

1. Protect myself (Get the fuck out of there)
2. Warn other UKP punters (OP did this  )
3. Reduce the risk to other punters (OP did this by getting the profile removed  , but another will be along shortly)
4. Reduce the risk to myself by doing a few simple upfront checks (Image check, UKP reviews/comments, phone # check, x-check AW reviewees, ask UKP for opinions etc.)   
5. Revenge
