This brings back memories. I thought I had done something wrong. Joining this site is probably the best thing I have done recently. I do not consider AW feedback useful anymore.
I called this lady to make a booking, she was in London at the time, very close to a hotel I was staying at. I thought to myself, if we hit it off, I'll invite her over to mine. Called her, picked up the phone, was very pleasant on it and we made a booking, so I get ready and she says, call me when you get to the hotel. I get to the hotel and call her and she says, my apologies, running a few minutes late, I say no problems.
She then switches off her phone and I thought initially the service in the hotel was bad but I figured, hey, she answered calls earlier. Called a couple more times and left a message and she sent me a text accusing me of turning up without making a booking and she was going to warn security at the hotel. I sent a reply telling her we had talked and made the booking and told her we even discussed her coming over to my hotel if things went well.
She then threatened to call security again and I was taken aback. I just laughed and told her, you do not know what I look like and I have done nothing but call you to make a booking. I then said, not fair wasting my time and she said she would call the police and I calmly told her, I am in the lobby, described my outfit and told her to please do, I was waiting.
Then she switched off the phone. I thought I had done something wrong but she is clearly a lunatic.
