I am curious about this as I have been contacted by a WG who I tried to meet last week. She is a genuine WG with feedback but she is now saying she wants a deposit paid up front via Paypal or AW credits as she has been swamped with timewasters. I am not criticising her, its her business and choice but I have never come across this before. Has anyone else done this ?

So she wants a deposit by paypal which will give both your and her genuine name & address. Sounds like a bright move.

I know some of them are getting a higher than normal amount of cancellations at the moment as a couple have mentioned it to me, just in passing. Possibly some rogue WG's having a go at others? There has been some hassle at the moment, again that I have picked up.

The problem is, as has been seen on other threads posted about people doing this.

If you pay her upfront. You would think what would happen is your punt would become top of the list of priority as you have already paid her for it.

What actually happens though is you become absolute bottom of the list of priority as she already has your money.

My advice is NEVER under any circumstances pay a WG a deposit. Punting is known to be paid for on the day in person in front of the WG, the fact this WG is after deposits would ensure she never got my business.

This is a route that surely none of us can ever go down. The whole point is anonymity. Once there is a paper trail of any kind the game is up.

surely this could never become the norm..! it,s just one of the downsides of the job for the girls (timewsters). theres enough problems for the punters.. fake pics, dodgy outcall places, unreliable girls etc, without paying upfront..! imagine trying to get a refund if you had to cancel

Some punters have paid a deposit to WGs this way. For ME it wouldn't make any difference if it were totally anonymous, I wouldn't pay any WG in advance of seeing them in person on the day. That's how punting works and always has in my 32 years of doing it.

Can you imagine what the girls would say if punters asked if they could send a cheque in the post a couple of days after the appointment, they'd be up in arms, quite rightly too. Same goes for paying up front, no chance.

It has to be cash on the day, either at the start of the appt. or at the end depending on how well the girl knows the guy.

I once left my wallet in the car and had to dash out to get it before the next punter turned up, but that's another story.

No I would not pay upfront on paypal especially on a short booking.

I have paid a deposit in the past though on an overnight once and a long booking when the escort was travelling out of her area, but it was only a small percentage of the booking and it was paid into the escorts bank account.

The reason for this was due to not only timewasters but men that go out of there way to do fake bookings.

I can understand why some are asking for it its not practical for this type of industry but I have had many girls tell me that they get men making bookings just to waste there time travelling over there and have no intention of paying of they just don't answer the door or try and send them to a neighbours house so they can watch from a window getting off on it....how sad and desperate.

Ffs I am not keeping a fuckin secret, all I have done is ask for an opinion on a practice that I am unfamiliar with. Is that wrong ? I have never met her so I don't know what she is like , presumably anyone who attempts to book her will be told "deposit required". I was actually asking for the chaps to share information and their experiences, is that wrong ??

IDKB maybe as she appears to be offering domination and similar services paying a deposit is part of being dominated ?

further reading of the profile reveals that she would like someone to pay her bills for her as a form of servitude... not my cup of tea this 'financial domination' but whatever floats you boat really.

To be honest I think she's just a bit inexperienced and naive, had a few timewasters who might not think she's real and come up with this deposit idea. She'll soon realise it's not a good idea when no one books.

The reason you get paid £100/£130 an hour includes the risk that bookings fall through at short notice or you might get timewasters - it goes with the territory.

Not really a practical idea unless its a long booking with maybe the escort travelling a long way then I think a deposit is deserved but that is on outcall not incall.

The only case I've heard remotely like this is Lucy Lane of Middlesbrough, who asks for a deposit up front but only if you've made a booking and not shown up. I've never heard of anyone ever asking for a deposit before a punt straight away, and I certainly wouldn't pay for it

It'd be a scam if she did this and the meet didnt happen and the guy lost the cash.
I'm not sure I'd be at all keen on paying a deposit myself....bit of a pointless risk to take unless the girl was personally recommended by a good source.
