picture results from TinEye

Hi all,

I just wanna clarify something to do with TinEye. If lets say I search a picture, and i get 24 results. What does that mean? does that mean that i should be weary of this particular girl?

Not necessarily. You need to look at each of the 24 photos and ask yourself is each one of those a genuine?

If one of those is THE genuine photo, then chances are the photo you are investigating has most likely been copied.

There would nedd to be a good explanation to see the same photo in 24 different places, unless it's a trend or an article that has gone viral.

or it could be innocent and maybe it's the same girl, who has just advertised on other directories and sites..........

You really need to look at each site and see the context. If she's actually an international Playboy model that pulls in £10k for a Photoshoot with a famous men's magazine then it's unlikely she'll be pretending to be a Romanian escort in a grotty bedsit in an English provincial town offering anal for £50.

However as others have said if it's a series of escort websites, even foreign ones,  then she could well be genuine. For example some glossy pics turned up on an agency website in Newcastle, reverse image search showed an escort agency in Brussels with the same pics of a Latvian girl. A member saw her and confirmed its the same girl (although the pics were photoshopped) just doing the rounds.

Me too. Far more hits using Googles reverse image search than tineye finds.

I agree, most of the time I use both as every now & again Tineye will find something that Google doesn't however its quite rare.
