Author Topic: Keeping track of tourers  (Read 583 times)

I presume that many of us have hot lists on AW, both for particular areas or general.

My general hot list includes some tourers.  But how can I keep track of them?  How can I anticipate when they will next be in a place that I can get to?

Is there some better way than going through their profiles every so often to find out where they are visiting next (some SPs are better at  putting that information on their profile than others anyway).

How do you do it?

It's a big problem Jim.  I often find that a girl on my hot list is suddenly showing as available today in my area and it's too late for me to work something out.

There is a dedicated tours tab on AW where you can see which girls are planning to be where.  This only works if they bother to use it.

I'm not sure what you mean by tourers - some girls are not 'tourers' but end up moving around different cities a lot (thais and brazillians for instance). I keep a separate HL for thai WGs who tend to not stay in the same city for long and a separate default HL for SPs who are (or seem to be) permanently based in my local area.

That's the definition of tourers.  It tends to be the more established girls that actually describe their travels as tours.

I misread the title as “keeping track of trousers” and thought WTF.

Clicked in expecting a lunchtime laugh and was somewhat disappointed.

I tend to keep a regular lookout on my hotlist. The way that I do it is keep the list narrowed down to SP's that I really want to see and mainly SP's that have toured local to me before. One feature amongst many that I like on AW is that I can see when an SP last updated their profile when I first login, so I sometimes go into their profile to see what that last update was (can be tour dates sometimes), or simply just a gallery photo etc. Or, I'll just simply check in every now and again on a specific SP's profile that I wish to see. I find this the best way for me.

I completely agree, that's why I was wondering if there was an easier way.  I tend to need to plan my punts a few days in advance, so the green light today is very frustrating.

Yes, I agree with Mr Garmin, I count all of these as tourers.  Anyone who moves from place to place, quite frequently.  It is irrelevant who is making the decision.

That's pretty much my method.  I had hoped there would be a better way, but I guess the thrill of the chase is almost as good as the actual event.   :)

that's how you do it

Best advice so far, thank you.   :drinks:

I would contact them asap via Aw mail, text message, WhatsApp. I had travel to see them as well so a little effort

If there's someone you really want to see you could always ask her to send you an AW message a week or so before she comes back to your area, I'm sure quite a few SPs would be happy to if they know it will secure regular business for them.

It's a good point but unfortunately many SPs suffer from STMS and will have forgotten what they promised you yesterday let alone 2 months down the line.

Its often not as straightforward as that though, popular SPs can be fielding 30 to 50 messages a day possibly more, remembering who asked to be contacted in advance of a tour can be almost impossible.

However its possible to set up sub folders in the AW email I believe,  so setting up ones for regular locations and moving those that ask for prior warning of tours into those is doable I believe.

The other option a lot of SPs who tour use is a tour tab on their AW profile, which allows them to update and list dates and destinations in advance.

If the SP on your hot list has a tour tab the its worth checking that weekly and hopefully that will be in advance enough for you to arrange a suitable window of opportunity to book.

Am I wrong in thinking that you get a notification bar across the bottom of your AW page showing updates for those who you have on a hot list when they edit their profile,  that may give you a heads up when their tour tab is updated if so.

Yes, some SPs do use their tour tab very well.  Others are less diligent.  Yes, we do see a notification bar when profiles are edited.  Sometimes I click on the SPs on those and cannot see what has changed.  And the notification bar will probably disappear with the other retrograde hotlist changes discussed in another thread started today.

I agree with you, asking SPs to update them when they are moving on is not fair on you.  For many SPs on my hot lists the wouldn't even know that they are on my hotlists!  Also, I have three or four areas that I visit, so it would be an absolute pain for everyone but me to say "I'll be in area A this weekend, then area B for a few days next week."  And so on.
