Thanks for the review , I understand what you mean about the lifesphere 360 !!! Unfortunately I am in the same position , I would stand a better chance of escaping Colditzs then her indoors tracking
. I thought retirement was supposed to be fun not a bleeding prison camp.
Anyway , thanks for this , I have never managed to get to this establishment, will it seems worth do a bit planning for .
I would like to say that being married does have its benefits, but i failed to see what they were during my 2 life sentences
Planning is key, during my last stretch i found a number of things which she didnt like to do, the main one being wondering around the likes of Wickes or B&Q or even both together
I dropped on this by chance one day, having spent a stupid amount of time by her side, wondering aimlessly around her shops, we then called into B&Q on our way home, to actually get something we needed
We were no more than 20 minutes in there when she started to Whinge and Whine, once back at the car she said that the next time i wanted to go there that she wouldnt come with me
Slowly over the next few weeks i started to visit these places and would make the visit last, 40-50 mins, then 1 hour etc, initially with her until eventually she just carried on and once again said that if i wanted to go there then go alone, 3 months later i would often say to her, i fancy a walk round B&Q are you coming
And often received a very grumpy NO, and from then on, a DIY shop visit was my passport to a bit of freedom
These days i live alone, and i relish every minute of it
