I believe you're supposed or it's at least recommended that you get your eyes tested every 2 years to ensure you are still safe to drive.

The problem with eye deterioration is that it's little by little every single day so you don't really notice as you just adjust slightly every day and it always seems "Normal", a bit like looking in the mirror every day but not seeing yourself getting old but then look at a photo from 20 years ago and  :scare:

I was identified as having high blood pressure from an eye test and they can also detect all manner of other health issues too

I have an eye test every 12 months and would personally highly recommend others to do the same.

we seem to neglect our eyes, we don't see our eyes being in any sort of problem and also we can't see the damage for ourselves. To put this in perspective, if we have a mole on our skin that we was worried about, we would go and get that checked out because we don't want to loose our life, if we had fat around the heart we would sort that out because we want to be in "good" health and in "good fitness" because we want to be able to do more. We get our teeth checked because we dont want gum disease as we don't want to lose our teeth.

It is time for us to look after our eyes the same as we do for every other part of our body. :hi:

Every two years is a good start but if your getting older and is over 50 then I would say once a year would be ideal.  :hi:
