I'm a huge fan, saw them 3 times pre-split, saw them at second night at Cardiff last year. It was great but I'm much less excited about this tour as it's so soon after Oasis '25. I've registered but not sure I'm prepared to go through the hassle or pay as much this time. Also not sure which venue I'd prefer, Knebworth is closest to me but heard some horror stories about getting to / from gigs there in recent years, apparently it takes literally 3 or 4 hours to get out the car park. So if I go then Manchester might be a better option, maybe the Euro dates could be an option too.

So think I'm going to play it cool for this one. If tickets are easy to come by and sub-£100 I might end up going. I get the feeling they are confident of selling out but based on my own attitude I'm not sure the demand will be the same this year. I was dying for a ticket for '25 but in the 'can't really be arsed' category just 2 years later. Doesn't feel quite as much as a last chance to see them this time.

I’ll be given that a miss then.

Might sound strange that I’ve got one of their albums  :D

But I just can’t stand that fucktard singing up to the mic with his hands behind his back. Got that face I just wanna slap.  :D

Liam is an absolute hero to me, but at the same time when people call him a fucktard or similar (and plenty of people do have that opinion) I have to agree with why they think that. He acts like an idiot even now he's in his 50s.

I think he is a good front man though and an excellent singer. Noel once said that if songs were drinks, then a song sung by Noel is a pint of Guinness on a Tuesday, but a song sung by Liam is 10 shots of tequila on a Friday night.

😂😂😂.   I enjoy both drinks.      On any day of the seven.

Waaaaay back in the 90s, if someone like Phil Collins was selling tickets for €500, Oasis would have called him a wanker and took the piss out of him, sad to see them like this

What I fail to understand is why they tour, but can't write any new material as a band. They're not a legacy band like Led Zep.

There’s more money in touring than writing and releasing new music.

Its all up to Noel really, so he's just not interested or he doesn't have enough new songs for an album

I would say they are someway on the path to being a legacy band. Towards the end of their original stint their albums didn't sell particularly well but they were still doing world tours with stadium gigs around the world. People went to see them for the classics rather than their recent material and they would include their big hits in their set list. Even if they released a new album now I expect people just want to hear the old tunes.

I've registered for tickets, thinking I will go if tickets aren't a massive faff.

They should call it the ‘spot the brain cell tour’.
