Author Topic: PLEASE PUT AN AREA IN YOUR SUBJECT TITLE  (Read 815 times)

Offline Skippy2708

Dear all, just to help with a small frustration that I’m sure others may experience, can you please put an area in your subject title as it would really help with not wasting time if it’s nowhere near your punting area.  Sorry to moan.

Do you prefer square feet, metres, acres, hectares or something else?  :sarcastic:

Well said that man. Simple thing to do. I just ignore any reviews with no area now.

Heartily agreed, but might this not be applicable generally and not just East England and hence be posted under Regional Discussion ?

If people read the rules it would help:

4 Reviews
A new review thread can only be created once a service provider has agreed to a booking. A meeting does not need to occur, and money does not need to change hands. The only criterion is that she has accepted the initial booking. Members can post more than one review about an SP, but touting will result in a ban.
Reviews must be within the last 6 months, for ALL members now.
Only one sex worker can be the subject of a review, not a whole agency/establishment/ brothel. The exceptions are sex parties, duos, etc. and massage establishments where providers do not have names.
Reviews must contain a link, contact details or address (if publicised by the service provider).
The title of the review should only have SP Name - Location - (B&S / TOFTT / SCAM label if needed), and there are no abbreviations of establishments in the title of a review

The highlighted bit covers this

I'm surprised you find it to be an issue.

Myself and many other helpers do check the reviews and where the location is missing or vague, we correct it if obvious, or request the reviewer to clarify.

I just checked the "recent reviews" page which shows the last 200 reviews, and there were only two that didn't have clear locations in the title :unknown:

Do you really think this need a thread of it's own, let alone one with the title in capitals?  :unknown:

That's apart from the fact there's rules about what has or hasn't got to be put in the title, rules that the mods are here to enforce

I should add that as well as being in the rules as Scutty has pointed out it's also made clear in red on the post new review page that the location goes in the title.

However can you, or anyone else, link to threads where this is an issue?   :unknown:

I did come across a review yesterday but I think it had since been fix by a forum helper.  :hi:

It's also in the reviewing guide.

I am not convinced he meant reviews, perhaps topics in the discussion sections?  I would be amazed if any reviews survived more than a few hours without a location being added to the title - FHs are all over that and indexing.

I've no idea what he means or what the issue is to be honest. As you say FHs sort review locations out pretty quick and mods do it on first reviews before approving if it's missing.

Just had a look at the East England general discussion section and there isn't many without a location?  :unknown:

Yes as someone pointed out it’s not the reviews but general discussion (I didn’t actually put reviews in my title so the assumption was made).  I know you guys are on top of the reviews and sort it out shame really that punters don’t read the rules in the first place.  But there has been some replies that concur with my post so there maybe is a small issue with this which can be frustrating as a user who complies. In regard to the capitals in the title, I didn’t realise I had done that until it was mentioned here, but it got their attention 😜  Anyway keep up the good work.

Complies with what? there's no requirement to put the location in the title of a post in the general discussion sections, mainly because it isn't needed.

Maybe you could explain exactly what your issue is, after all if it's a "has anyone seen xxxx" type question you either have or haven't seen them and you could have seen them in a different location to the OP. If it's a general who to see type question the one's I've seen in the NE always give the location where the poster's going to be or they're general questions about the whole area.

You are complaining about an issue that doesn't exist and to make matters worse you are shouting about it. BTW I do not believe you didn't notice as you were typing that all the letters were capitals.

Edit
Are those who have agreed with you referring to general discussions or like most people reviews.  :unknown:

Also I'll ask again can you link to any post where the lack of location is an issue that needs to be addressed.

I'm not sure which part of the country you are referring to, as it wasn't in the thread title?
