Done via WA. Initially very good. Time and booking confirmed for a meet a few hours ahead. Postcode given and was told to confirm again 30mins before agreed time.
Location: Quaint residential block of flats that feels like it’s located in the middle of nowhere. Along Uxbridge Road, sort of between Pinner and Hatch End station (is about a 20min walk from either station). Never got to see the flat of course but I really should have driven. I came from Pinner station and the walk to and from the station is a pain.
The SP: Unfortunately never got to see her in the flesh. Photos and description from other reviews though were appealing.
The Action (or lack there of): This happened over the last few weeks. As mentioned, messaged via WA and agreed to booking a couple hours ahead of time. Made my way shortly after, messaged letting her know I was on the way. Got a reply with a
“see you soon x” and another reminder to message again 30mins before. Was coming out the station and gave my 30min heads up but got no reply which I didn't think anything of. Leisurely made my way to the location, sent another message when I was 10mins away, no reply. Got to the location and sent another message letting her know I was there, no reply. I was about 7 or so mins early so waited which is always awkward but thankfully you don't get too many people walking or passing by. Started to get concerned but thought it not unusual to receive the door number message on or just after crunch time… A minute or so past our agreed time, messaged again and you guessed it, no reply. Found a quiet place to sit and waited a bit more. Was coming up to 10mins past agreed time so tried to call. Of course no answer. Messaged again saying I’d wait for a bit. Waited another 10mins and frustratingly gave up just over 20mins past the agreed time and made my way back to the station. Never had a plan B, thought about seeing a reg or searching AW again but being ghosted really took me out the mood.
Didn’t think I was going to get a response back but nearly 2hrs later I did. I feel like this SP (or her possible handler/pimp) reads reviews so this will prob identify me but I'm wise enough to use a punting phone. I've deleted the messages but she messaged back saying something along the lines of;
“I thought you were wasting my time as there are a few bad reviews about you and I thought you wouldn't show up so I made another booking”Such a piss take... I never gave my AW details and used a single name pseudonym so not sure how she was able to find these supposedly
“bad reviews” about me, especially since the punting number I used was barely 3 weeks old. Didn’t bother replying back, just laughingly scoffed reading her message. Can’t understand why she couldn’t have told me this at any point before hand or in response to any of my heads up messages on my way to her. I’m assuming I most likely either got bumped for a regular, or was double booked and the other fella beat me to it.
Return?:In short, no… Can’t remember the last time I was ghosted but this one left me very annoyed. Was especially aggravating with the reply I got. Seemed like a really bad excuse on their part and would've been better if they didn't reply back at all. Wasted a good 4hrs of my day. For an SP with seemingly great reviews, this was really bad form on her part or whoever may do her comms.
