How do adultwork groups legally exist?

Everyone knows pimping is illegal in UK, on adultwork though there are many groups where girls work in the group and the group owner takes a cut or percentage of profits.

How is this operating legally? Would this not be considered controlling prostitution for gain? Or is there some legal loophole within adultwork groups that allows this.

Always wondered this to be honest as it is highly lucrative for group owners and is mutually beneficial in the sense that the girls have profiles managed for them without any work their end.

For instance there was a group on aw where sugar babies were recruited and had profiles fully managed for them and offering bareback sex at big premium prices which is lucrative for both the girl and the owner of group.

Technically escort agencies are all pimping out girls as they take a cut of the profits from escorts and inflate prices to reflect this. But they obviously operate in a way where it is legal..

Also, the term "Pimping" is generally an offensive and derogatory term, unless it falls within the lowest forms, such as running street prostitution etc. These AW groups are doing nothing wrong, and actually enhance and support many SP's profiles.

Group manager are there to assist new girls to set up their profile and advertising them etc. New girls don’t know how the business works and a group manager can help. Once she knows how the business works in a couple of years or so she can become independent and she can manage her on Adultwork profile and cut the middle man.

I don’t know what percentage they take but if it’s 70% then yes I would call that pimping, not just sex work but any business in general.
