getting their number isn't difficult.  Getting them to meet away from work on honest, civvy grounds a little harder especially if they are looking for an open wallet paying for good food, (lots of) drinks, days out, expensive gifts and a maintenance arrangement for their family back home.  Rare are the ones who settle for just hanging out and being fwbs and those that might go this way quite likely have issues you'll be lumbered with if you drag it out.

It’s a very common story and I had a similar experience. I also made sure I was getting “the best part of the deal” and kept one foot always on the ground. “Friends with benefits” is very common with the Thai girls but I’d say at the heart of the motivation for most is money and the experience leading up to that is an audition of sorts.
