scouting, my OH trusted me to visit Thailand because I had told her twenty years ago how I was appalled with what I'd witnessed there on a legit business trip. I must have mentioned it to all family and friends because I didn't ever get a sly look from them. I wrote it up on here and it really is the highlight of my later life.

Not all of Thailand is seen as seedy. For example, you could say you want to got to Chaing Mai which has none of the reputation of Bangkok or Pattaya but does offer the same delights.
