Alicias Crewe closed?

Does anyone know if Alicias on Edleston Road in Crewe has closed for good? I tried to go there on Monday but the shutters were down & I've just driven past today & the shutters are down again. No answer when I've rung them, so it doesn't look promising. I know it's not the Ritz but it's cheap & cheerful. They do a 20 mins for £30 option & I've had reasonable punts there in the past.

About 15 years ago it was my go-to parlour for a while, even though getting there entailed a train journey.
I really like Lola, but she doesn't appear to be working there anymore.
Number of girls pictures shown on the website but most not showing as working on the rota, so maybe the place is having difficulty in filling shifts.
Hope it hasn't closed permanently because it's always had a kind of shabby, Northern, down to earth appeal for me, and I have fond memories of some of the girls I saw there over the years.

Yeah I've seen Lola a couple of times (and reviewed her), really enjoyed those punts. She was good fun in the room. Was disappointed to see she'd been removed from the website. The last time I saw her there she was the only girl working that day & the maid hadn't turned up so she was taking phone calls between punts as well. They clearly have had staffing issues. The website is still up & running & even updates to show who is working each day, but I think it just does that automatically rather than someone still taking the time to update it.

I'll have a drive past again in the next couple of days & see if there are any signs of life.

I can confirm it's open today. Looks like they only open for a few hours, I was told they shut at 5. Now that Lola has left I was hoping to find someone I liked to take her place for a quick, cheap p&d when the mood arose. I wondered if Eve might fit the bill, but didn't fancy her at all when I saw her.

Oh well, I'll have to stop being a tight bastard & give somewhere else another go.

Lola was well below the average age you see in parlours and above average in terms of looks for her age. So if you are hoping to meet another WG with the same age and looks you'll be looking for a while.

I used to go to Brooklyns quite regularly a few years ago, there hasn't been anyone on the rota that's stood out for me for a while though. Cheshire Elite is looking more promising, they seem to have the best selection in Crewe at the moment so I'll give them a try again soon. And obviously I'll post a review when I do.

I would say the average looks of the WGs is roughly similar between Brooklyns and Alicias and maybe Cheshire Elite has a slight edge (on average).

But, the cost of a 30 minute punt at Brooklyns/Cheshire Elite is a lot more than a punt at Alicias, but varies by WG. I've not found the cost to be worth it in recent years.

At Brooklyns/Cheshire Elite it is too common for it to be £50 base then be quoted £20 each for OWO and kissing.
At Alicias it is £40 base and the usual quote is £10 for OWO and £10 for kissing.

Temptations have the right idea in having a price list on the wall (well, in the room I was in) which makes clear how much each extra service offered costs.
Not much use if one only punts in Crewe I suppose.

For Alicias, it was a price list on a sheet of paper rather than on the wall, so could have been given to the WG who then left it out and could have been her own personal list. But, I did notice OWO and kissing were both listed as £10, because I've been quoted £20 a few times for OWO on its own.

It's the lack of consistency with extras that frustrates me. At Brooklyns a couple of times I've been asked for £20 for OWO. Both times I refused & said I thought it should be £10. Once she wouldn't budge so I just had OW, the other agreed on £10 so was probably trying her luck. I went to Roses Retreat in Manchester & the extras were clearly stated on a printed piece of paper in the room & a couple of things that have cost me £10 each in the past (RO & COB) were included in the base price (as was kissing). If you have a decent punt then it's probably not an issue paying a bit extra, but if it's not great then I think the add-ons really leave a bad impression.

I should add that this was at least maybe 2/3 years ago, when it should have been £10. Looks like £20 is the standard for OWO at Brooklyns now, which is a bit much imho.
