Getting to GFE (Sheffield)

How easy is it to walk to GFE from the Meadowhall South tramstop? Looking at Google maps I can't see how you would get across the large roundabout?

If you put it into google maps there’s a path under the M1 I’ve walked over myself.

Easiest way is to walk over the footbridge at tram stop and along the canal in Rotherham direction then turning off on the bridge after the lock and turning right along the dirt track which brings you practically outside.

Front door is fairly discrete end building in an old row of terraced house Lily Chinese is couple of doors to the right, Couple of food shops in the row as well.

I don't know sheffield very well  when I went I walked from meadowhall interchange  to the tram stop across from nexus trust 
I think this is South tinsley tram stop 
At the tram stop you follow the path along the river  basically you go around an over the river  an it basically a straight route going through the underpass to get to gfe 
I just put Google maps on your phone assuming you can see it in bright sun light
I wasn't aware of the foot bridge until now

I go from Meadowhall too rather than the tram stop. I go from the Meadowhall interchange bus stops, so what I'm about to write here is not applicable to the original post because that's about the tram stop.

If going from Meadowhall Interchange what is the best route though? I think I prefer the red line on this map. It looks a fraction longer than the more obvious yellow route but it involves crossing fewer busy roads. This red route involves going across the bridge into Meadowhall, through Marks & Spencer and then out of Meadowhall through the Southeast exit. Then down the escalator and through the car park until reaching Meadowhall Way. This is literally the only busy road to cross but there is a pedestrian crossing. From there I just head forward down the left side of Sainsbury's petrol station until reaching Sheffield Road. Turn left onto Sheffield Road and then left again under the little path that goes under the motorway bridge. It's about 1 mile. If I rush I can walk it in 15 minutes but 20 minutes is very comfortable. This route isn't the best for discretion though as it involves walking past several shops before reaching GFE. As GFE is the end shop those on foot who are concerned about discretion would be better finding a way to approach from Northeast rather than Southwest. It should involve only a slight detour I think.

Yes I definitely have. Not every time I've been but perhaps approaching 50 percent of the time. Doesn't bother me but I can appreciate that it's not to everyone's liking.

Over the M1 that bit if Tinsley is a shithole. You get stared at by the guys in the take away. It's a long walk if the punt is crap as well. On the plus side I'm very unlikely to run into anyone I know

What a difference a couple of days makes. When I visited yesterday at 12pm for a mediocre booking with Cherry there was nobody to witness me entering the parlour and no other punters in the parlour waiting area.

On Wednesday when I had another nice booking with Sadie at 12.15 there were people bloomin everywhere, a guy outside a shop who looked like he was waiting for a delivery, a guy backing up his car and a bunch of workmen who were working on something. Then when I entered the parlour there was another punter who was waiting for Kimi. None of these other people bothered me but it would have been a nightmare for anyone worried about discretion.

It's just pot luck. You can sometimes have a booking without a single soul apart from the receptionist and SP knowing about it but at other times you have multiple people to potentially witness you. It doesn't bother me and I'm really glad I visited on Wednesday. Sadie was great. Slightly improved kissing compared to the first session for which I wrote the review and she got her boobs out this time. Put the condom on with her mouth too. Friendy girl.

I've been studying the map to see how to approach the parlour from the opposite direction when on foot (to avoid walking past all the shops near GFE). Upsy's suggested way in the very first reply (blue line on map below) looks quickest but when going that way I can't work out how you cross the river (where I have drawn a question mark) because when looking at Google Maps the bridge appears to be on a different level. I guess it must be possible if Upsy's map shows it to be possible.

The yellow route is definitely possible from the tram stop so that's an alternative for approaching from the more discreet side.

I'll be sticking with my usual red route when walking from the Meadowhall interchange even though it means walking past the shops before arriving at GFE. If I cared about being seen I'd just wear a hoodie or something to hide my face. There's no guarantee of not being seen when approaching from the other side anyway.
