Author Topic: Poppers for a beginner  (Read 882 times)

I’m fairly new to poppers and interested in trying poppers/aroma play for the first time

I’m not looking for the strongest or most extreme product. I’d prefer something smoother, beginner-friendly and relatively easy to tolerate, with a short, manageable effect. I’m particularly interested in whether people find amyl, pentyl or another formulation more suitable for a first experience. And their experiences.

For those with experience, which brands or formulations would you recommend, and are there any that a beginner should avoid?

For me they all the ones you can buy in sex shops / corner shops are pretty much of a muchness, it is just marketing IMHO.

FYI proper amyl nitrate is not available in the UK, but you can get delivered from France (which I do as I do prefer this compound as no headaches, very smooth but also stronger / longer lasting).

This maybe helpful:

IMPORTANT: Never take poppers with Viagra (for similar). It is very dangerous, can be fatal

This blog is a good starting point as it talks to the differences in types of poppers:  External Link/Members Only

Personally, I opt for Pentyl as I find it stronger than cheap "liquid gold" types, longer lasting, and my lips don't turn blue!   Preferred brands would be Iron Fist (comes in a leakproof metal bottle), Double Scorpio, or BB.   All of these a pretty strong, so should be used accordingly.

As Jamie said, never use with a blue pill.  Also, if inhaling directly from the bottle, beware of the possibility of "poppers burn" around the nose area.

Given that it’s illegal to advertise poppers for human consumption in the UK doesn’t this discussion fall foul of rule 30?

Regulation Poppers website in the UK does offer amyl formulations btw
