Date - July
Comms - Booked through text
Price - £190 for a 60 minute incall
Location - Hotel in Solihull

Booked a couple of days in advance by text, all good comms. Travelled to the site and 30 minutes before the time got a text asking if things were still going ahead, replied yes they were. Arrived, about 15-20 minutes early (which I like to do), sent another text saying arrived, looking forward to the time. No responses to either of these texts, or indeed to one more 10 minutes past the time. No response to a phone call, straight to voicemail. 30 minutes after the time sent text to say I was leaving.

Sent an email later asking what happened (and I wasn't happy considering I've driven an hour just for this) and no response after 24 hours.

Shame since she had been on my hotlist for a while and have texted in the past, but dates never lined up. AW reviews look good and previous review here was also good. I saw later she had emailed through AW to confirm things were going ahead that morning - however I don't check this - especially when communication was through text. A bit odd, considering that I could be doing this on the 'down low' (which I'm not) so might not be checking emails anyway, especially not on the day. Perhaps should have sent a confirmation text first thing in the morning? Maybe I was blocked when I didn't reply or something as she says "Any messers will be blocked". Who knows.

Not much more really to say

Next punt booked with someone I've seen before (will actually be a first time seeing someone for the second time).

Many on here will tell you that you should confirm on the morning of the booking.

My guess is that as she hadn't heard from you, she thought that it didn't look like you were going to turn-up, hence the text from her 30 mins before the booking, although you told her you were  still on for the punt, I think by then she had already booked someone else in. Touring is costly. If she's getting a lot of enquires, and has not heard from you even though there was just 30 mins to go before your booking,  and  you hadn't replied to her email, the temptation to book another punter in would be very strong.

If she hadn't sent a text, 30 min before the booking, I presume you would have left until 15-20 mins before he start time, before texting her. IMO, you really need to contact her a lot earlier to see if the punt is still on, all the more so, if you've had a fairly long journey.

A confirmation on the morning or the night would almost certainly have helped but that doesn't have to for the punter to initiate, unless that's agreed at the time of the initial booking or stated in her profile. She could have sent a confirmation request herself on the morning. She could have messaged  to confirm at the point she was considering bumping the booking. She could have specified a confirmation at the time of the booking or in her profile. If she wants to charge a"professional" rate for her services it's not unreasonable to expect her to operate like a professional. Ghosting after a confirmed booking is a well deserved negative for me.

In the end it's the punter who is messed  about though, so the pragmatic thing to do if you really want the booking to go ahead is as MB suggests.

No question, a neg is justified. It's difficult so see how it could be anything else, as it was a confirmed booking and OP did respond to the SPs text 30 mins before the booking was due to start.

No doubt she is a bit paranoid about being messed about.

I don't think many punters realise just how much of an issue time wasters are to SPs.

But in this SPs case, I would say, the way she is carrying  on may be counter productive.

Likewise, I don't think many SPs realise that when they ghost or go radio silent, it's not just a case of a transaction not happening, but it's also a huge disappointment for the punter.  It's akin to being stood up by a woman on a date. It's a horrible thing to do to a bloke!

Noted, and something I will do going forward before heading out on the day.
