As an electric vehicle user travelling the country for work, I have to plan my routes around EV charging stops that normally take 45 mins to an hour.
In the North West we are blessed with a couple of service stations that have hotels where there are always girls working. Lymm and Charnock Richard are both great and really convenient so you can put the car and charge, enjoy a punt and return to a fully charged car. Especially useful if your employer tracks your vehicle.
I will be making a regular trips down to the southwest of England in the near future. I'll be visiting Bristol and Cardiff so travelling down the M6. M5, M50 and M4 .
Are there any service stations with similar arrangements in the South West - any intel gratefully received.
Or if you know any parlours in the region within walking distance of an EV charging point - let me know.
How long before an enlightened parlour puts a charger in their car park ?
