Author Topic: Blanket Adultwork deleted emails?  (Read 692 times)

Longstanding Adultwork user and UK P member. I have read the earlier threads here on the topic of automatic deletions and have both been blocked/blacklisted by specific SPs over the years and know that any subsequent emails get 'deleted' automatically. But this week I have come across new profiles in London - not connected - and have sent four friendly short messages. I was checking the sent box by accident and all four had been instantly deleted.  I tested again with someone I have seen recently and who says (via text) she has not blocked me! But all messages through the system to her as well have been automatically 'deleted'. Very weird. Any thoughts most welcome.

Maybe you are using words they do not allow.

I have a similar,  but not the same, issue.

None of my email messages are read any more. Never used to happen.

Mystery solved. There was a blanket ban: Having asked the question of the Adultwork help desk I was given the answer that they have an 'anti-abuse' system that scans all messaged and triggers if certain terms come up. Rather weirdly in my case it was the end of one sentence and the beginning of the next. This: “a bit. Do you”. [to do with being in said SP's city on work and wondered if she had availability].
'bit. Do' is a spam trigger. Who knew?
As a result there was a blanket ban on my outgoing messages. They have lifted the ban and I will try not to be so outrageous in my messages going forward.... :dash: :dash: :angelgirl:
