I've always enjoyed the London strip club threads.

The Nags Head was very well known amongst the cognoscenti.

You seem to make a habit of trying to close down threads.

You were the first to reply to the The equivalent price of punting thread, with the comment: "Pretty sure there is already a thread on this." That thread now has 51 replies.

The MODs will post on threads if there are any issues.

not many strip pubs left now. Browns and griffin the only ones left in zone 1? the woolpack in hayes. cant think of any others. so i am sad to see another one go. but it was rubbish to be honest. last time i was there for 20 mins and saw one crap stage show. private dances were £60 so i finished my drink and went to browns. rainbow sports bar is another place i will never go back to as its a rip off too. but its still sad to see these places disappearing.

The article says that The Nags Head got into another round of trouble when the girls rubbed their boobs into the faces of undercover licensing officers. It must be a tough job, being a licensing officer, but someone has to do it.

Presumably, the local council tax payers were on the hook for the private dance fees.

There used to be one, around 1990 close to the Mountain Pleasant sorting office, no idea what the pub name was but it was known colloquially as “ The Whippy Kipper”.
