Author Topic: Towels supplied by SPs in hotels  (Read 368 times)

Curious to know other experiences with getting a towel from an SP.

I like to shower before and after a punt but in recent times I have either been handed a hand towel by an SP or a towel that has been used before. Apparently it is difficult for SPs to get a number of towels in a hotel without raising more cost or unnecessary questions.

It just seems to have got worse recently in London.

Any thoughts?

It's grim isn't it? I don't mind a hand towel but a soggy, used (possibly several times) one is awful. It's a good reason to punt early for hotel meets or even bring your own. People should feedback more in reviews about this. All it takes is a few quid to the maid and a wink and job done.

always worse for touring conveyor belt girls. i always wash at home. Pretend to shower there if the facilities are no good. Just turn water on, pretend and come out.
or u take your own in a bag if it bothers you.

Yeah, for hotel meets, if I don't know the SP, I will bring my own. Learned this the hard way over the years. Never thought to mention it in a review but probably worth including in the future.

Yeah I think I have been lucky in the past purely because I prefer to punt in the morning as possibly first client of the day.

How do you explain the need to take a towel with you in the mornings to your loved ones ?

say that you're going to the gym or for a lunchtime run

One SP who regularly toured showed me her suitcase full of towels which she brought with her when staying in a hotel. She would also raid the hotel linen cupboards if they were left open.
