Looks like renewed attempt at drumming up spring time enthusiasm for Cambridge.
 
Wondering if anyone from here is planning to head over.
 
Pro: Never been to the Phoenix parties, but reads like similar format. A lot less hassle though compared with training it to London.
 
Con: Risk is small town, non-zero chance of bumping into an acquaintance.

Went to 2, 10 years ago or so. 1 good experience, 1 terrible experience. I did a review, so do take a look.

Though, no doubt it'll be different people running it, but who knows.

Yes, like Rock, I attended several of the “ original” Cambridge parties, as well as Phoenix and other parties. With all of them you had good days and not so good days. It largely depends on the line up and their attitude. Sometimes punters would “ hog” a girl or go off for a 1-2-1 in a side room. Some girls would only offer OW. The Cambridge male organiser, at that time, could be an acquired taste. Like all punting, it’s a chance you take.

There's always the culture shift when driving from Cambridge to London. When in Cambridge, there's a lot more of "go ahead first please". When in London, it's "move out, I'm coming through".
 
Wonder if that driving culture also transfers to party culture!
