Offline Camtucker19971

Hi guys, some reason this just pop into my head after reading some other forum about this topic but can’t find the answer to this,
I know to use a puntingphone and sim but I read saying to use fake name? What do thy mean by that?

So I order a giffgaff pay as you sim and on giffgaff when it ask for your name is that when you put down a fake name down when you register a sim?

I’ve just have a separate phone and new sim but entered my correct name when registered the sim, have I made a mistake doing this? Should I order a new sim and use a fake name on that?

I read the wiki recently and I believe it said to give the ladies a fake name? not your network provider, could be wrong though.

I’m jus worried about them getting my info from my phone number

Maybe they meant fake name for your Apple account (if iPhone) or Google Account if it’s an Android. Make a new account rather than use your regular ones. If you use Android and the SP also uses Android, then text messages are Google Messages using RCS (Rich Communication Service) chats.  It can reveal your real name depending on your settings.

Also, fake name if using Telegram or WhatsApp. Aside those, your phone number won’t reveal your details. I think only the police can get this but they would need a warrant and a good reason to do so.

Thank you, I think this make more sense now.

How are you going to use a fake name when buying credit on your GiffGaff sim?

OP

Keep your punting sim phone number, email and WhatsApp totally separate from your personal phone. NEVER text or ring one from the other EVER.
Stay off social media with punting phone.
WhatsApp is useful as a lot of girls have it (use a fake name obv)

As far as the sim - it’s fine to use your credit or debit card as long as a significant other has no access to records or even the balance

buy topups for cash in a shop
and that's how he should be buying the SIMcards
you don't get asked for a name as no account is set up

Should I order a new sim and use a fake name on that?NO, just go to a poundland or similar and buy a sim card then go to a newsagent and buy a top up with cash. Job done  :D

If you want to go down the punting SIM route then buy a SIM at a Newsagents and put credit on it

When that credit runs out (I think usually after a month) then bin it and buy another as required

You don’t need to Register a SIM in your name that way.

And use a basic phone with no WA, just Texts.

Or be like me and just say, fuck it, and use your second phone

I don’t use a fake name either, but then I don’t try and book with random Romanians who are more than not being run by a Pimp

Everybody has the risk that they are prepared to accept in life

Just buy a SIM from your local shop (around £1) and put credit on it with cash via voucher.

You don't have to ever register it. When it runs out of credit buy a top up voucher at your local shop using cash for whatever mobile network it's for. You can use a text message or phone a free number to apply the voucher to the phone number. Repeat until you fancy changing your mobile network provider.

You can get unlocked mobiles from eBay.

o2 classic is a good choice if you don't use the phone often. Get them off ebay.
I saw a Brazilian girl who was sending RCS messages with her full name. I showed her after the Punt and she was mortified.

Yeah, that’s why it’s safer to use a non-smartphone but the features on a smartphone can be helpful day to day and people are used to smartphpnes the days. Some SPs send a video of how to get to their place via whatsapp, for example or agency/pimp sends you pics of who is available.  Thats why you should always make a new account and use a fake name for the new Google account. And turn off Profile Discovery in settings.  Same with Apple.

If one uses iPhone and the other Android, then details aren’t shared but don’t wanna chance it.

Thanks everyone, I’ve always just ordered a separate phone, and separate pin from giffgaff and used my debit card to buy the cheapest monthly pay as you go which is like £6 I think and used it like this, I wasn’t sure if I was doing anything right, I’m using android on punting phone, so just made a random google account with fake details, and this number isn’t linked to anything other than making booking, I just downloaded what’s app so I don’t know if there anything I need to be aware of when using it.

Well you've used a debit card to buy the SIM, so your personal details are tidied to the SIM. Not the best approach as the mobile phone network operator will now be able to identify who is using the number and see the numbers you are calling and texting.

Does that really matter? The phone company isn’t keeping a record of prostitute numbers.
All the OP is protecting is his true identity from SP’s and any pimps that may look to extort money by exposing a punters real identity.

Exactly this.  I just want to stop a pimp/disgruntled SP from connecting my number and my real life.  I have a separate phone but pay for top ups on my debit card because it's just easier that way.  I don't think MI5 are too bothered.

All fine until the SP and her friends contact the police with some sort of allegations against you

if it helps OP I've recenctly installed Samsung Secure folder on my phone and inside installed Hushed and paid $34 for the year for a mobile number all relatively straight forward with the added bonus of nothing in that secure folder pings unless you have it open.

Not an issue if the punter is staying within the transactional boundaries that have been agreed upon. Do we think the police cannot trace any phone, even if paid for in cash?

Yep this is what I meant lol, don’t want pimp or sp to know about my real identity
