Afternoon folks. I'm returning to Hong Kong and China for the first time since covid.

I'm well versed in the temptations that Hong Kong has to offer and will likely partake in some of the walk ups and have been scouring TG for some freelancers.

I'm not so well versed in punting in China. I'm going to be at phase 1 and 2 of Canton Fair in Guangzhou and then in Yiwu for a few days. Any recommendations for either city? They make up 85% of my trip with only a bookend night in HK either side.

There are loads of threads on punting in China.  Use 'advanced search'  and look on this forum only. The short of it is, it is hard work, and it can change between one month and the next due to local police.  Hong Kong and Macau are way better.  If you have no local Mandarin or Cantonese speaking guide, best bet is to find a glossy hotel-looking massage parlour and have a nice massage with happy ending.

Have searched but couldn't find anything specific for GZ or Yiwu really, more generic Chinese punting info. I think I'll have to fill my boots in HK day one and then see what I can sort in the mainland before heading back to HK.
