You know what? I feel like I've written this report for nothing.
I'm not a hardcore punter. I've never used this website before everything happened today, this was the first forum that popped up when I searched online for London escort complaints and reviews. I usually do one or two punts whenever I visit different cities, just to get a taste of how things are like. I had a good punt earlier before Christmas, but of course given that I didn't know this website back then I naturally did not write a review.
So am I entitled to criticise and write a negative review only if I have had written a positive one before? Just to prove I'm a real guy and not a troublemaker? God knows whatever happened was real enough. All the recourses that everyone has said here are perfectly logical, and trust me if I were a local Londoner I would have pursued this to the death and not stopped till I got the agency run down to the ground. The only reasons why I did not do so is because one, I do not live permanently in London, and neither do I even travel here often. What is the use of securing a free replacement punt when you don't even know when you might be returning? I did press the agency to compensate me the fine on behalf of the girl as well, but I relented in the end because the receptionist who handled things expertly in the end managed at the very least to get my 200 pounds back and I did not want to press my luck any further when I was about to leave London in 4 hours. And hate on the agency and the girl all I want (and all you guys want), but I cannot fault the second receptionist's handling of the whole matter, only that I wished it was her right from the beginning settling matters.
Sure it was a rubbish punt. And I'm 150 pounds short for it. I choose to take it in stride, and warn all of you here that 1) beware of wild-card girls who act in risky manners, 2) Learn from my amateurish mistake of leaving her alone (even though she didn't take any of my valuables), and 3) DON'T EVER USE TRAVELODGE FOR PUNTS. I'm glad that most of you have had sympathy for my experience, but it is very hurting and demoralising to know that some here seem to want to construe my post as either a troublemaking post, or take the chance to bash on me not pressing the issue to the death. It is not my responsibility to post here to warn all of you about what happened to me, and neither did I even consider using this platform as leverage to pressure the agency to compensate me. I don't play rough with people unless they do so without repent, and thankfully with the second receptionist they have shown every bit of remorse regarding how the incident was handled. Last I heard from the receptionist they were about to bring up the incident with their management, so it is out of my hands to comment and neither do I wish to care about what happens afterwards.
My final time emphasising this: make what you will of this review. But please don't keep making posts criticising my lack of aggressiveness in getting my own back, or make very hurting insinuations about my status as a student here in the UK. I have nothing to prove to anybody, but I will not suffer having my integrity called into question, especially by people who have had thousands of posts and dozens of reviews and thus see themselves as being a step above the rest to judge and adjudicate. Scam or no scam, this is one agency that is probably best avoided for the time being, as well as for you punters to take notice and take extra precautions when punting in hotels in London.
(Sorry for the long rant, I had to get this clear once and for all. And if an "illegal immigrant" can write such good English, then perhaps you yobs who think I'm really some alien here in the UK should be getting worried...)
