Here's a thought, there are numerous online systems that manage appointment for various industries Katie simply signs up and sets the system to show when she is free. A punter then views her appointment book selects a time that suits and fills in his aw nick (the system is secure) the Katie then checks and approves ad she wishes

Obviously there are some anonymity issues that need to be thought through but these systems are designed for exactly this purpose.

JEREMY - I spent 2 hours on Monday evening replying to about 70 emails (both those I could and couldn't see) however in those same 2 hours I received 40 new emails which made any progression appear somewhat bittersweet.
I'm still working my way through a back log of messages that built up during my time off in the first week of January.
Am I out of my depth with the admin side of things? Definitely.
Have a found a resolute answer to the problem? Not YET.
I'm not giving up though. I'm going to keep trying new strategies till I find one that works. They do say the road to success is one of trial and error.

ATMIV - Your email must have been one of the ones I opened and read during a study break, some of which I have now responded to and some of which are still pending my attention. I agree, I definitely made a school boy error there as opening mail I cannot immediately respond to will inevitably leave a few of you vulnerable to falling through the net. Lesson learned.

Well, my message requesting a booking this week, sent on the 05/01/15 was read by LK at 16:36 on the 11/01/15, so far no reply.
To be fair, I have had excellent comms from LK previously, but maybe that's part of the admin problem, she is very caring in her responses, even when they don't immediately result in a booking.
Would I have liked a reply and a meeting? Of course. Is it convenient? No
Am I going to kick up a fuss beyond stating the facts? No
I figure LK is doing her best, she doesn't need extra pressure from me. When you are very good you will be in demand.

I think this log demonstrates how much organisation/planning has to go into a WG's diary, especially one in so much demand.

I've had a better experience with LK's comms, once a dialogue has been established. After the initial AW emails and "checks" were done, the comms by text takes over.

LK comes across very professionally and sounds cute the way she writes as well, add in her FB, she is worth persevering with.

Actually in this case he is completely right from her perspective if she wants to keep any form of sanity and not completely disappoint some by being unable to see them or at least maintain normal comms with them. Although price doesn't matter to me personally, I applaud your philosophy.

Putting prices up on a "premium product" is normally an accepted business model in the commercial world, ie: Restaurants, clothes, ice cream etc... however, most prossies know that competition has been fierce in the last 18 months and set to be even more so.

If you're an indie, without any agency or pimp costs incurred, then prices can remain static indefinitely, despite overtures from others. Of course it's a personal choice at the end of the day.
