I'm sure that AMW will be very pleased that the UK has a strong record of denying the US any extradition they request rather than always seemingly just rolling over and doing what they ask, oh no hang on a moment ....................
I would say that, in the current climate, there's very little chance of an extradition warrant being issued anytime soon.

doesn't need an extradition warrant
Our extradition agreement with the USA means that legally we automatically have to approve any requests they make without testing the validity in a UK court, whereas if we request extradition from the USA we have to go through full due process.
Only way we can legally stop an extradition to the USA is if the Home Secretary decides there's a medical issue which renders extradition unsafe, or if the USA refuses to state that the accused will not be given a capital sentence

It doesn't work like that.
The US Embassy submits Diplomatic paperwork to the UK Home Secretary who checks it meets legal standards which are that the US must show "reasonable suspicion". It then goes to Westminster Magistrates Court who issue an Arrest Warrant the Police then Arrest the Suspect. The suspect then goes before a Judge  to schedule the full Extradition Hearing at which a District Judge decides if Statutory bars or Human Rights concerns apply and sends it back to the SoS for the final descision.
I would suggest that in the current climate "reasonale suspicion" would be a pretty high bar given the US reputation for being "economical with the truth".

This could have him getting a sweat on  :D

Off road tyres
Fair enuf he must spend most of his time driving round Sandringham not wanting to venture out much
The closest Pizza Express is in King's Lynn a 7 mile drive

We can all see the double standards, when Julian Assange was locked up in Belmarsh for years on remand, for a fake allegation of rape invented by the CIA, can't see Andy getting remanded anytime soon.

He (A M-W) is probably judged to be less of a flight risk than Assange. It's not like he isn't very well known, he'd seriously struggle to get on a flight from a UK Airport.

In legal terms, and while it was thought the allegations were true, yes - he'd shown he would try and run to avoid "facing the music". Ironically, his supporters gathering outside the Embassy probably didn't help. They kept him in the public eye maybe if they'd kept quiet, he'd have been able to quietly 'disappear" to somewhere with no Extradition Treaty?  :unknown:

I wonder whether AMW will eventually have to pretend to be dead and exile himself to some remote part of the world like a number of extremely wealthy people are alleged to have done before him?

Let’s see them start jailing Americans for their association with Epstein then we can decide if they can have Andy, no way should Brits only be the scapegoats for whatever went on.

Agreed - and that's not going to happen for at least 3 years, by which time AMW will be getting on for 70 and his age would be a factor in determining whether or not an extradition request is granted, and you can bet his lawyers will appeal it every step of the way.
I doubt he'll ever see the inside of a jail cell - assuming there's the evidence out there to convict him in the first place. I would imagine that given his previous globe trotting lifestyle, being confined to the Sandringham Estate, large as it is, and the considerable downsizing of his home will be a constant reminder of what his alleged sexual proclivities have cost him.

Funnily enuf being outspoken aint the best plan
& now if asked any Q's people lie
The further up you go the lies get bigger & bigger & ...
Thats enuf politics

More importantly lets see how long the Met or whichever force it is investigating paedo AMW provides an update
The media have been quiet on this
One paper / news outlet will break ranks & the rest will follow
Whats needed is fuck all news & then they think i know what we'll focus on
I reck early 2027 when the rozzers will come under pressure to reveal what they somehow haven't managed to find out about AMW & Mandy
After running their findings on AMW by The King first, obvs [& if Mandy could be an issue]

I wonder if there will be anything more on the Prince of Pegging ?  :D

Just as you thought it had gone a bit quiet which i'd assume AMW would be happy about his legal team launch legal action against the police claiming his arrest and the warrants used weren't legal
In fairness the legal action was started earlier this year but i'm thinking that pissing off our legal system perhaps isn't a good idea as he risks pissing off a few people who are / may possibly have his back to an extent and make it harder for the US or the UK courts to take action against him  :unknown:

Ultimately does he / his legal team honestly think that if it's now announced there was an issue with the arrest warrant then everyone will suddenly sit up and exclaim "Poor old Andy"

I'm no Lawyer, but the old bill had Warrants issued by a Judge at the CCC. Unless AMW is claiming they lied to get those Warrants, I can't see the review helping him unless it's some sort of delaying tactic should the US apply for extradition  :unknown:

Google says that he didn't get anything as an inheritance but that doesn't mean that his mum didn't slip him a wedge before she died.

If that happened recently he would presumably have to pay inheritance tax on it?

inheritance tax is levied on the estate not the recipients but yes for most of us gifts within the last 7 years have to be declared and are taxable on a sliding scale, there are annual exceptions but that would only be pocket change to that family

IMO laying down a marker for public consumption
AMW most likely gets enuf given to him to cover this
However the message from The Firm & especially The King to all is that AMW is increasingly on his own
All comprising:
For starters AMW who is apparently as thick as {otherwise why would he have done the train crash bbc interview}, the rozzers, the CPS, the media & the public
IMO AMW must be shitting himself over whatever inquiries the rozzers are making & is working on the principle that the best form of defence is attack
The King not paying for the legals gives the rozzers & potentially the CPS [if charges to be brought] a clearer playing field
Obviously not entirely clear or level given that a mere mortal would have likely been required to attend Court in the US donkeys ages ago over Epstein with royal privilege preventing this
However a step in the right direction
One thing that is absolutely sure is that The King will be briefed regularly on the police investigations
I liken The Kings actions to Pep leaving City end of the footy season given that he'd got a pretty good idea as to what was likely coming
AMW is so clueless he might think he can see light at the end of the tunnel with all his problems
The thought that it could be a train coming not entering his brain

I hate to be picky (!) but the IHT on a failed PET, that is a gift where the donor dies within 7 years is the responsibility of the recipient.  :hi:  Unless the will says otherwise.  If not paid then there is a route for HMRC to go back to the estate.

"Thames Valley Police has accepted that the search warrants it used to search Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's homes earlier this year were unlawful,"

In a masterful statement plod tries to shift the blame to the judge
"The conditions for the warrants were that there had to be reasonable grounds for believing that any documents used for business or in a paid or unpaid role in which an undertaking of confidence had been given should not be seized.

Thames Valley Police now admits the judge who granted the warrants could not have been sure of this."

Plod assured the court that the correct information was presented to the judge - knowing he is untouchable or at least is unlikely to fight back

IMO the blame / error does indeed lie with the original judge though  :unknown:

TVP originally applied for search warrants under sections 8 and 9 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, the judge told them only section 8 was required and issued the warrants accordingly, it now transpires that it should have been section 9

If judges can't even interpret the law correctly it doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the legal system, that is unless you were to question whether this particular judge is perhaps a Royalist and has some sort of sympathy for Andy and trying to scupper or hamper the case against him  :unknown: :bomb:

I don’t think that he will get much in compensation if he decides to sue, this rests on a technicality so any compensation will be quite low. I should imagine that he will be persuaded not to pursue it anyway, the King’s brother issuing proceedings against the local police is not a good look.

I don't know if he can sue TVP - they had a Judge tell them that the Warrants they were given were all they needed - they can hardly be blamed for the error of a Judge, and the optics wouldn't be good if AMW sues one of his big brothers Judges (assuming you can do so).

I believe there's a separate hearing to decide just that - the Judge in the "unlawful" case saying there's no point in him doing so as it will immediatlly be appealed by the losing side.

this sums it up
along with the rest of the fawning establishment, including the higher ups in the rozzers CPS
desperate to get their way onto the honours list & attend events involving The Firm
as for the seized material whether or not this was lawfully obtained or not makes no difference
well if the rozzers / CPS drop a bombshell from what they've found
inadmissable its the contents which are important this provides intel as to where to look
IMO they'll give the appearance of looking very hard but somehow finding fuck all
this is a difficult task
as for AMW not using funding he gets for legals
everyone knows AMW is a wrong un & a fraudulent wrong un
it will depend on whether The Firm want an extended death by a thousand cuts [AMW is not going to 'go away'] or a short [ish] sharp shock
