Author Topic: been asked to leave a review  (Read 3976 times)

A recent punt, I'd describe as Neutral at best, which I haven't yet reviewed, but was asked by the SP to review them on AW (I don't book through AW, so don't leave reviews there) - by message after the event (not during)

It's made me not want to immediately leave the review on here now because of that, feel free to point me in the direction of other threads, searching for this just returned all kinds of stuff

Commend the SP for inviting feedback - thats what I call great customer service !  :hi:

No issue leaving a review providing it is a fair reflection - id recommend leaving it a while (but within the expectations for a review on this site), and leave out any details that would link it to your specific experience.

Also, reviews on here have far more importance and relevance than those left on AW IMHO.

In any case, I don’t think you can leave feedback on Adultwork unless you have a confirmed booking in the first place.

I think you can. You just can't leave a rating

Because they are not requested. Any "review talk" definitely reduces the value of such reviews, as you cannot know for sure if the SP acted differently because of/hoping for a potential review.

she said something about creating a booking so I could leave feedback, I cba with AW anyway, it was more on here. I didn't find her from AW

Yes.
A recent encounter (for which I left a Negative review on here) - booked via AW.

Around 2 hours after the punt had finished, a text from here asking me to, quote -  "Please leave me a positive review (on AW) and then I will do same for you"  :dash:

I did not, but I did write up a 100% Negative for her on here.

It's rather sad that she couldn't make the effort to deliver the goods but expects you to lie for her. It reminds me of a witty 18th century definition of an ambassador "A gentleman sent to lie abroad for his country".

I've seen cases on here where the member has left a positive review on AW then a negative on here purely to get the positive for himself, crazy. It's better not to leave one than post one that deceives fellow punters.

Long before my time on here I was asked, post punt, to create a booking and leave an AW review. She was great so I did. I ws new to the game. If asked again today I wouldn't do it.

I was once asked by an agency girl to please write a review of her for the agency's website which I was happy to do because she was great. I subsequently wondered if she was under pressure from the agency to generate positive feedback.

When I started punting and before I had discovered UKP I always made my bookings via AW. I left feedback for the first couple of girls because I just thought it was the correct thing to do. Then one girl who really didn't need any more as she already had over 600 AW reviews, explained that positive reviews which girls gave me would be to my advantage. This later proved true when I got to meet a girl who will only see a new client if he has such AW feedback.

Some agencies offer discounts for reviews, how do you think that affects things?

What if the "only if you have feedback" girl delivers a poor service to you?  And you had to make a booking in AW? Compromising much? Whilst there may well be some good faith or cgaf providers the result is that an awful lot of false info has been posted as AW feedback for a multitude of exploitative reasons. The feature is sadly too flawed to serve function.

Good points LLP. I agree with you about what amounts to corruption. In my case the agency didn't offer me a future discount. I reviewed the girl on here and gave her a positive which was genuine. If I had been bribed with a discount I would have mentioned that in my review. I don't trust or bother to read agency or AW reviews but UKP ones I do. Any questionable reviewer on here is soon exposed.

Regarding the girl who requires AW feedback. She has been consistently well reviewed on here over a good number of years, in fact I think it is fair to call her a forum favourit. Why she requires this feedback is a mystery given her experience. I wonder if she contacts the SPs involved to confirm in detail their experience with said potential client. I regard myself as a punting newbie so I have little idea of what goes on in the background.

I have been recognised as giving a review on this site by a couple of girls.  I never really acknowledge that it was me but they know.  Slightly embarrassing as honest descriptions given but +ve.

I have been asked once for a positive review as I was in some throes of passion.  Not a discussion just - "will you give me a good review for this" as she did some things I really enjoyed.
She did not mention where the review should be and I gave her a positive here as it was positive, gave no feedback on AW.

Other girls have asked just never to be mentioned on this site as they find it more trouble than it is worth even if positive.

I have been asked for feedback on AW a couple of times and usually will give a +ve as I don't want their union ganging up on me.  Shows the weakness of their system.

I have tried to review on escort ireland.  The process is tortuous and highly restrictive.  Gave up a couple of times but once completed a review but it was negative and they found excuses shut it down.  Those reviews are utterly hopeless.

Offline Crackpot11

Generally the feedback on AW is bs, and I wouldn’t go by it. The feedback on here is more accurate but the best rule is don’t leave feedback on both, as if you do they know who you are.

Had a booking recently with a girl at a well known London agency.

As I left she asked me to leave a review. I will in due course. (teaser : weak positive) And said she hoped to see me again (2nd teaser: Highly unlikely)

It occured to me as I walked off to the public transport, that she clearly thought she had done enough to get a good positive review that would help her get more work. So when I do get round to scribing, she will just likely dismiss it anyway as "wanker client" and wont be looking to actually improve her service  :D

You need a AW booking which is confirmed after the event in order to give full feedback and a rating.

Frankly AW ratings and comments are not a reliable source, there is always a risk if you leave negative feedback you very likely to get it back in spades by the SP. Hence the vast majority of reviews are positive I’ve only had a couple of poor meets and never left a review for those meets.

Having said that, it can be useful to have good feedback. Some AW SP’s require it or you get hit with a deposit request, which I’m never happy to do. I had one AW SP who told me she went through every review I’d submitted and every review submitted about me before accepting the booking. Glad it was all ok because she was fantastic.

I tend to only select AW SP’s as I think AW is more reliable than Vivastreet, just a feeling but could be wrong. The only time I’ve deviated from that is based on a recent review on UKP.

I tend to select the intended SP then search on UKP for reviews and comments. Only joined  a few weeks ago but AW H/L has changed significantly since having the ability to see the real SP feedback
