I think the apartment(s) you mean mate are the ones nearer Piccadilly Gardens (just round the corner) - the magic keypads! The girl or maid should have let you know how to enter the code. Can be tricky - I've been to both the apartment blocks now.

Does the number rhyme with hero? I had to attempt several times to correctly input the number but got there eventually.

Yes correct……. It takes a good few presses to register the 2nd number. Always worth the effort though when I’ve got in .

I must be thick then coz I press it about ten times and nothing happened. Won't bother again tbh.

When you say 4 digit do you mean room number (3 digits) and then Bell 🔔?

It’s the middle number that the pad is clearly worn out on so you need to watch the screen as you press it. Thankfully I’m not local and the entrance is enclosed so not many passers by.

Sounds like a different one. The one I mean is bang in the centre of a busy road and people can see you walk in.

I think I know the one you’re referring to. I’ve been there several times and always for a Thai SP.

You have to activate the keypad by placing your whole palm (I think) on it for a few seconds. You can only enter the code when the keypad is activated. I only know this as the SPs I’ve visited there added that to their final ‘come now’ text
