I've always hesitated before bumping old threads that have not been posted on for a while. It's not always welcome.
not welcome from whom? If its say 3 years old and there are more recent threads, fair enough. if there is no more recent threads then imo, start a new one. again fair enough. but if its say 5 or 6 months old and no more recent threads, again imo, fair enough to comment (bump if you prefer) that one.
For me the biggest issue is the money SPs charge! But I wouldn't dare start a new thread on the subject. But if I bumped an old thread it would only annoy a lot of members and the MODs.
Prices are important to most of us - but that topic has been done to death and is one of the most pointless threads as nothing will change, it doesn't give another member any new or useful information and just is yet another moan about something which really is outside of our control. and at a personal level its easy - if you can afford it and if you want to, pay it. if not don't - find someone else or find another hobby, punt less often etc etc
but this thread isn't about that - its about a relationship with a SP which also has been done a number of times, including only a few months ago.
(all this is just my opinion - other members may agree or disagree with me - and thats ok, all personal opinion are just a valid. Obviously if a Mod tell us something, we ought to pay attention to it!)
