Haven't done a review for a very long time as life has gotten in the way but the punting life called me back this year.
I set myself an Around The World competition this punting year and decided to start with South America. Brasil. I found this lovely lady was not too far from my base and she didn't have any reviews on the site. Not always or red flag especially if the WG has a mobile number and can book off site. Which is what happened. Texting was quickly responded to, details confirmed and post code sent.
WG Stadium is quite easy to locate and as l got there after 6pm, parking was free and less than a minute away. Its a secluded street with buzzer entry. No problems, getting in.
She welcomed me at the door, the usual stand just behind with the door already opened. She has three photos on her scouting file and are all correct. A true stunner, warm and friendly reception. I did realise however that enhancement work had been done, top and bottom. Enhancements are not my thing, so it was a downer for me personally especially as this was not on the scouting profile. Pitch was nice and lush.
"Club pendant" was exchanged as per usual before kick off as a time of 30 minutes for the game was agreed by both captains. She changed from a red to black kit as requested. However, several offers listed under "at discretion" on her team sheet were unavailable for selection. This was disappointing, as l was looking forward to seeing these on the pitch.
The game itself was boring. Beyond boring. Her play style of full of hesitation, no enthusiasm, and a buzzing phone from the stands kept distracting her.
It did not appear that she was up for the game. I rolled my long sleeve kit on and decided on route one tactics. The plan to directly probe and probe through the defence quickly yielded results with a few gasps, and eventually l scored an early goal inside the box. After the goal, the buzzing phone seems to become more distracting. Game finished a lack lustre 1-0.
As it was a cup game, there will be no replay.
Summary: The tie looked exciting on paper but the actual game was vanilla. Not many highlights.
