Hoping there isn't already a thread running similar to this. Seems an appropriate topic as we have just seen the end of another punting year. Ok, i will start the ball rolling. I have mentioned this member in a different thread, 12 months ago, as we'd had a conversation when i posted a review whilst i was in the capital. 'bedheadred'. Anyone heard anything from him lately ? Hoping he is ok.

Who knows what’s happened to some of them. The rule is when had enough to “just go and don’t be a drama queen”. So people do and leave us wondering.

There was a thread on this topic a long time ago, Goldfinch used to post the links for me and Littlefoot used to punt in the West Midlands region and was very knowledgeable on the massage parlours in the area. I think both were more senior members of this site so they either retired or no longer with us.  :unknown:

Finchie was class, a true gent around these parts.

UKP is the poorer for no PP or WW if we're going back to the pre-pandemic vintage.

A lot of people were concerned about Finchie as he was getting on and his wife had been ill, I do remember the other thread and after quite some time another member who was in contact with him off of this site confirmed he was still with us but on a break
I'm guessing when his wife passed he just lost his Mojo, shame as he did seem to be a really nice guy, hope he's OK within himself

He often posted the link before I'd even edited my review. He was certainly on the ball.

It is a weird effect.  Mine passed and I have more money, more time, and can accommodate.  And to a great extent - I can't be bothered.

Its like the sex was a rebellion and a search for something missing at the time: the 'greatest hits' I remember are all endorphin-fueled cuddles afterwards and that was by no means a given, even with an SB.

The forum stats are interesting, six of the top ten contributors are no longer active with two banned one that we know got a relationship and 'retired' and the rest MIA.

Most notable for me is JRC who was very active at the time I joined.

I've gotten into the habit of checking Colston's profile, to make sure he's still here. I think he's in his late 80's now, and I like his uninhibitedness and cogent contributions.

You're right; I'll be 90 in August. I don't often review because I keep seeing the same women and I'm lazy. But I try to see someone every week.

Some women are doing so well they don't want publicity, whilst others don't fuck, just do nasty stuff. One example is Kelly Ann Kink in Newport, who is a good photographer . I am seeing her and another next week for a photoshoot which I hope will degenerate into something wicked.

Nik used to be very active on here when I first joined. I think he wrote a book and self published it on Amazon. It would have been interesting but there was no way that I would buy it from Amazon, I don't need them knowing that I would be interested in that kind of thing.

Another very active poster on here (and punternet before) was Smiths. I wonder what happened to him, I enjoyed his posts.

Some of you will remember Jimmyredcab, he was a prolific poster on punternet, and very right wing. He's either gone off to Bangkok or joined Reform.

I think Nik ended up copping it as he'd stopped punting but hung around here just to comment and post about politics with stuff that wouldn't bother many in the Politics thread but seemed very antsy outside it. I probably did wind him up a bit much.

Some I remembered who were more actually punting and contributing:

Whoisharrypotter (quite an exit)
WinkyWanky and his surreal humour
Horizon Pleasures and his unreliable intel!

Some peoples humour you just get. I loved reading Cueball and his cage, dishing out the gruel.

He did post a few times just over a year ago. Said he was no longer punting but logging on occasionally for a giggle at the banter.

no doubt there will be a comeback tour at a later date if you do 'retire'

how many actually formally declare retirement rather than one day realise they have drifted into that sort of position inadvertently

I shall always remain hopeful of another punt and I don't think I could ever want to say 'that is it' although your comments about lack of suitable quality is making it harder to be inspired when the likes of BR and I have to head to the limited options in Preston or the distant shiny lights of Manchester - it can just become a faff planning things

hope you start active for a while yet HL

He said there was a fit Spanish bird in a massage joint who had a hewge pair on her so I went down there and asked for her by name at reception, yes she's working today and free I am told. A quiet fit Asian bird is sat there and pulls a face at me and kinda gives me a look that says don't do it and the receptionist picks up on this and asks if I'm sure and wouldn't I like to see the Asian. I'm in need of chebs so stick to my guns.

FDM and I clock who I've booked with, a ginger dinner nanny. Granted they're huge and meaty when unleashed but she's a big mama. I curse and also realise her knockers taste of body wash.

Later on the OH demands a snog but pulls away after a few minutes, her mouth and jaw are red as fuck from an allergic reaction to the soap that's stuck on my stubble. Had a hard job explaining that.

Thanks HP.

Nik gave up because he got fed up with the aggressive responses on here to his extremist political BS. He got upset by me and a few others calling it for what it was and eventually gave up. By then he had no interest in punting and was using the forum solely as a voice for his rhetoric.

JRC was similarly inclined, and without Nik around to back him up also left.

James999 left because he was upset by a "difference of opinion" with the admin team. I won't say anything more.

Smiths retired after he met a woman. Came back after he busted up with her, then found another and disappeared again.

Goldfinch fitted all his forum support work during his spare time as a 24/7 care support for a family member (not his wife). He was rarely able to leave the house and had to be permanently on-call. When that came to a natural end he finally had time to get out of his house and have his own life - and that didn't involve UKP

Since we're wandering down memory lane i'm reminded of the dynamic between Nik; JRC and J999  :scare:

Nik was obviously the original forum owner and always had reservations about J999, he did on a few occasions post how he'd made a mistake a few times by not banning him when he had the opportunity
JRC and J999 were as far as I could tell quite friendly when I 1st joined the forum, indeed their political opinions seemed to be broadly aligned and they were quite happy to gang up and tag team in abusing other members particularly new members who'd then react and get banned, I wonder how many decent members we lost as a result who would have contributed reviews which ironically neither of them did  :unknown:

There was then a falling out between J999 and JRC who got pissed off with J999 constantly having digs about cabbies only taking cash in hand and not declaring it / not paying tax etc plus rigging the meters or taking the long route etc

Nik then seemed to get pally with JRC as a result and in the end started a thread trying to gather support for JRC and against J999, something like who should be banned JRC or J999
Nik was mega pissed off when the majority of support (including mine) was in fact for J999 and putting down JRC, I think that was pretty much the last straw for Nik
