Davie, your very lucky to have access to a good GP and if the NHS has you sorted then thats great, but do bear in mind that many haven't or got anywhere like easy access to their or any GP.
I had to take a relative to an A&E department recently she had severe chest pain that was just like a heart attack had to what there around an hour or more for her to be seen, (place was heaving with people who couldnt get to a GP!) and she did end up in Papworth or give it its correct title the Royal Papworth which sorted her out it was a thing called Mycarditis, spelt that wrong, but all the same they can just about get people back from the dead at that place one of the best hospitals of its type in the world :-)
That said suggest that the OP to gets to see a GP to make sure theres nothing elese wrong thats causing this issue it may be that your taking somethimg else thats what they say in the trade is a contraindication even herbal remedies can cause issues. By all means ask peoples opinions hereon but get a GP to check you out first please!..
