Wtf is "non legitimate contact"?

Any coppers on here care to illuminate?

Not police nor have I ever been but working within the legal profession I take an interest in these things.

The non legitimate contact will be solely for Police Personnel and not me and you. The issue is that the Police Service and Public Organisations as a whole have a view that sex workers are all trafficked girls from Eastern Europe, South East Asia or South America. Consider also that a Police Constable is not a job but an office holder, holding such office puts restrictions on your personal life such as not being able to be part of some certain groups or having certain business interests.

The contact is non legitimate as the Force will take the view that the officers in questions will be encouraging human trafficking, despite the fact that a good number of women do this as a legitimate profession. The argument can be made its outdated especially considering the amount of MP's who partake in this hobby.

Secondly is a black mail risk. If said officer was engaged in this, the provider found out their client was a member of the Police they could threaten to expose them but then say I won't if you're willing to provide me information on certain things or people.

In addition the main view from the Police as an organisation is that sex workers are either trafficked or have serious addiction issues meaning they are vulnerable and for a Police Officer to use their services is not compatible with their role or the services values and ethics.

And finally after the whole Wayne Couzens incident anything like this is stamped down on big time. Career ender no matter what rank you are.

OK that helps, thanks.

So in essence just visiting a SP and paying for their service is enough to breach that threshold if you're a serving police officer.

I heard they routinely check officers search history, browsing history, bank transactions and phone records recently.

I heard this on the radio whilst driving home from work, then the reporter said in other news a man was fined £150 by the litter police for spitting a leaf which had just blown into his mouth onto the ground.

It will be corrupt cops going round to their houses, harassing them with texts etc. to get sex off vulnerable people. Half of South Yorkshire police were involved in the "grooming" of children across the region, so this doesn't surprise me. The law doesn't care about normal working people, so it definitely doesn't care about the even more vulnerable groups in society.
