Last month I was able to get away to Pattaya and Vietnam for a trip and I thought I would share some findings.

I thought I would try something a bit different for my first stop of the trip, I have always wanted to try a proper edging lingham massage so after a little bit of research I decided on @581 by nana. This place is located about 2 mins walk from Bang Chak BTS station, so very easy to get to. One thing I have to say is that Pattaya was very quiet in October, even around Halloween. It also feels like the average hotness of girls in the city had dropped since the last time I had been here. One area a lot of people seem to sleep on in Pattaya is the Gents clubs, I think these are the most consistent venues in the city if service is one of your higher priorities. Sure none of these places will have any 10/10 stunners, but quite often you will find some diamonds in the rough.

Some people may not really be aware of what separates a gents club from a beer bar, well gents clubs tend to have a quieter vibe than most beer bars and all of them are closed front establishments. What this means is that its very common for girls to be walking around naked or offering play in public if that's your thing.

The women tend to be in 30-40's age range, but you will find some girls in their 20's. The attitudes tend to be less mercenary and more GFE. On this trip I visited Red House, the Chapel and Purple and I would also rate them in that order, but all 3 were worth visiting. Red House and the Chapel being two of the newcomers, both had nice interiors and plenty of space to chill.

Located right at the start of pothole on the bukhao end of the street, this place is notable as its fairly new and the interior shows it. One place I was interested in finally checking out on this trip was the famous Juney Massage shop near Buakhoa Market. I can totally see why Juney would not be some peoples cup of tea, but personally I think she looks pretty fit, in a slutty kind of way.

If you head on down past the Avenue mall, past soi 13 there is a stretch of massage shops that all give the vibe that they offer extras. I guess I should have said room fee rather than barfine, most places will have a fee of 3-400 baht to use the room on site, so no i wasn't paying the normal barfine price to bring back to my room.

In the middle of my trip I managed to get away to Ho Chi Minh for a week, primarily because I wanted to do touristy things. I caught a flight from don Mueang airport to Vietnam, the flight lasting about 1.40. I was booked in an air bnb not too far from the Mai House 5 start hotel. The nice thing about Ho Chi Minh in October was that it was not as painfully humid as Thailand, Bangkok and Pattaya were so hot and humid that you start sweating the second you step foot outside. Ho Chi Minh was less humid, a couple degrees cooler and had a breeze so walking about was actually pleasant. in hindsight I would not go to Thailand in early October again, last week of October at the earliest.

I was actually really impressed with Ho Chi Minh as this was my first time in Vietnam. There is lots of cool things to do in the city like the markets, museums and various other activities. The War Remnants Museum is especially worth noting, though not for the faint of heart though as several of the exhibitions show quite graphic depictions of America's invasion of the country, especially the liberal use of chemical weapons.

The city center is also worth just wandering around as there are some interesting sights to see like the Opera house and other historic buildings. There is also a copious amount of very fit influencer women that flock to this area to take shots for their Instagram, as well as many cosplayers that wander about doing the same. The market is also worth visiting to look around, and inside there are loads of food stalls that actually sell really tasty food for very reasonable prices.

Vietnam on the whole is a bit less straight forward than Thailand for mongering, sure there are some places with Bars and massage shops that are a bit more blatant like Japan town which i did not get round to visiting, but have seen videos of online.

Much of the scene you need to do a bit of research on to know its there, or use something like gaito if you are looking for freelancers. Vietnams's equivalent of bangkok's bj bars would be hot tocs, typically these style themselves as barber shop type establishments, but there is no hair cutting going on there. The most famous location for this would be NPK (Nguyen Phi Kanh Street) in Ho Chi Minh, where there is a parade of these places all in one street.

As you walk down the papa-san sitting outside will try to entice you in to look at the girls on offer. I ended up selecting a place called Warm Spa in Thao Dien, there is a mall nearby that you can take the metro line to and from there it was a short grab ride to the shop. So my final thoughts on the trip is that I had a great time overall, but i do have some specific thoughts on each location.

Bangkok

Bangkok has changed quite a bit since i was last here, there seems to be tons of new venues and a really big push in appealing to Japanese/Korean clientele. Lots of new massage and Nuru places that have that Asian feel to them and loads more Korean restaurants than I remember seeing before.

I don't think this is a bad thing, in fact if I were in Thailand in the future i would consider axing going to Pattaya and just staying in Bangkok. The Thing Pattaya has over Bangkok is its beach location, honestly Pattaya could use some innovation in terms of the venues and services on offer.

I could see myself spending a week in Bangkok in future to break up visiting other countries.

It seemed pretty dead in October, granted I have not been that early in the year before, but still the lack of customers does not seem to be driving competition, if anything places seem to be taking their foot off the pedal.

The average quality of women in the city does seem to be going down, but the gents clubs and Soi 6 for sure feel like bright spots.

For now I do think Pattaya is still a good option to get some sun and sand, in addition to pussy. If you can get out here for at least a month there are some good deals to be found on air bnb.

Ho Chi Minh

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh is just a more interesting city than Bangkok in my opinion. The food was great, there was plenty to do outside of mongering, and the women are very attractive in a different way than Thais.

The downside is the scene is much less documented than Thailand and the action is much more spread out, rather than being focused on specific red light areas. I do think if you had a couple of weeks it could be a great place to explore. I plan to visit Hanoi and Da Nang at some point as well to see what they have to offer in the future.

I would recommend Ho Chi Minh if you are looking for something a little bit different than the usual Thai adventures. All in all SE Asia still remains a great option for a trip, but the prices of flights are killing the enthusiasm a little bit.

Pattaya has changed since Covid. Far less mature Western men visited and Pattaya realised that there are billions of potential customers no more than a few hours flight away.

Pattaya will continue to evolve. A few years ago Treetown was nothing and Soi Pothole was well, just a cut-through with potholes. Now it is the main beer bar area. For a time Walking street seemed focused on Russians. Now that the draft dodgers stick to Jomitmen, it seems that many of the clubs are focused on Indian clientele. Personally I hate what Soi 6 has become. No wonder all the hotties have gravitated there. They can make more money just by looking hot, selling beer with the occasional expensive session with a sweaty farang. Each time that I visit, I tell myself that I won't go back. Trouble is there no place in the world like it!

Vietnam outside of the main cities is a great country to visit. If time allows, well worth spending a few days travelling around.

I did Ha Long Bay day trip from Hanoi and really enjoyed it. Only £40 for a yacht all day including lunch food buffet, afternoon tea and snacks, bamboo boat ride and kayaking for 1 hour too - and 2 hour luxury coach each way.

Only had to pay for drinks on the yacht (came to £15 for 3 beers, a coke and a cocktail so exceptional VFM).

Literally just walk in and have a glance at the girls before you sit down and commit to a drink, no harm and nobody will get offended if you give a polite no thanks and walk out. If you see a girl you like ask her to come over, most of the women at gents clubs are pretty service oriented. On Bongkot alone there are about 10 or so gents clubs so you will likely find someone you fancy, but the main draw of these places is the quality of the service itself.

Worse come to worse the drinks are pretty cheap in these places, even more so than beer bars so if you sit down and don't see something you like the worst you are going to be out is 80 baht or so for your beer.

I wouldn't do Gents Clubs for lookers. It is much more about service. Chances are low.

Soi 6 has every look under the sun. You will likely find something down there which will match. Chances are medium.

Wlaking Street Agogos will have your look but you will be rinsed to get the one you want. Chances are high.

Came back from an amazing trip to Vietnam in December the best way to find punt's in HCMC is via tinder it is like Thai Friendly, also someone here gave me a link to singlemansforum.

I went on that website and was able to find some good providers and joined TG groups (do your due diligence) a lot of scammers and found Kevin who was expensive but the line ups he has was amazing, overnight can cost like £180 and 1hr like £90 to £110.

I know the pricing is a bit funny but for one night that I had the urge he did provide and charged me 4 mill VND for an hour but the girl was really great, only downside the guards at the airbnb I stayed wanted some money  and not from me but from he so they took a transfer of 100K VND from her which I duly gave to her as a tip...

So in summary Tinder + Kevin + some massage parlours can make your life fun, one massage parlour that I went to again was discounted as I went through the TG group charged me 2.2 mill VND close tp £60 for 2 hours of crazy massage everything minus penetration they are happy with CIM but no penetration.

I did not for once felt it was tough to punt in Vietnam actually it was easy.
