You know there are times when you revisit something after a long spell away and it makes you appreciate it all the more?
This was not one of those times.
This was my first punt in over a year and was far and away the worst I’ve ever had.
The warning signs were there during the communications and I would have scrapped the booking if it was a local punt.
But as I had driven 50 miles from Manchester, I wasn’t about to turn round and go back home.
Now I wish I had.
The initial communications were all via AW email, starting a couple of days before the booking.
