AW - Starting to merge old and new web sites ?

Just noticed that now when I click the gallery tab on the web version of the site, it's routing me across to the new mobile site.

So I go from

External Link/Members Only[profilenumber]


to

External Link/Members Only[profilename]/gallery/free

even though I'm not on a mobile device.

Is it just a quirk of using a Chromebook or are other platforms affected ?

Yes, they are mucking around with it.  If, for example, you click on the gallery pictures from the profile page it takes you to the new site but if you click on the gallery link directly from the search results it takes you to the desktop site as normal.

It seems to be a work in progress.

Yep I noticed earlier this evening when checking my Hot List - not a fan of the changes myself!!

despite the apparent naming, the "m" (and "m2"site which sometimes appears) is not a specific mobile site: it's a beta of a replacement for the main site
It's unclear if it's intended to also replace the dedicated android and apple mobile sites

I dislike the new site immensely. Searching is a pain compared to how easily you can search by postcode on the main site. Even the profile layouts are annoying.

Another possible drawback is I can't see anywhere where you can copy the SPs AW membership number - which could screw the indexing system here moving into the future.

When looking at SPs massage burds on the HL that i've had a session with - might do the same again] + new ones i save to my online data bank of all things punting
No idea if the same on PG & no requirement for me to find out at the mo & i need to get another neo top up
In my brain lack of saved pics slightly lessens the chances of me do a revisit or a visit to a new one
Awank will have some reason to be doing this tho hard to work out why they are changing things up to something which is tried & tested 
& it points me more in the direction of VulvaS [with all its faults, duly noted]

you need a browser plugin to re-enable right hand mouse clicks
if you already have one installed then it may need enabling for the "m.adultwork.com" domain

Probably a glitch.  But, like all businesses they will be scheming ways to extract more revenue and making you have some 'cash in the bank' to even browse the site may be one of them.

So many businesses manage to do this in pursuit of 'progress' & increased revenue often failing spectacularly and having the opposite effect.

Agreed. AW has become pretty shit now. Presumably they are going to need to up their game and fix things. Or maybe not - I guess the need will always be there for us clients.

It could be my phone - although every other sit is fine - but often pictures can’t be viewed or they are missing wholesale from the search results.

Another thing I notice is the perpetual logout has stopped.

Now I log in and it stays logged in all day except when I play around with my hotlist and it asks me to log back in

I'm accessing AW via Ms Edge Incognito mode, not via a mobile. And I am also finding it redirects me to the new Beta site if I try to view a gallery. It wasn't doing that a couple of days ago.

I haven't really tried to use the Beta site much, but I definitely prefer the original.

I've already noticed 1 data error on the Beta site. Where the profile states the last login, it is not always reporting it correctly. I've seen one SP where the original site states her last login was 02/10/2025, but the Beta site is saying she last logged in "Last Year". 

I'll bet there are loads of other errors. 

Let's hope they realise their mistake and revert back. And don't try to force the Beta version on us in the future.

Agreed, can't see it anywhere. That is going to be a major issue if they change permanently.

The only way I can see their member number is by clicking on to the web address on your browser and you see the number at the end of the url like so:

Indexing system is going to get screwed anyway as our software won't interface with the new interface - without reprogramming

The Map view is available on the original site too. Scan down to the bottom of the profile page, just above where it states the profile ID number. There is a drop down box saying "More Options". Select "View a map of the area where (SP Name) lives" and Go, the map opens in anew window.

Don't know about Windows but Shift+right click on a Mac still allows you to save gallery pictures on the Beta site.

Same for me, perhaps it was in progress testing and has finished. Actually although I don’t like their alternate site, for some weeks photos won’t enlarge from the desktop site. But earlier today during the test, I could enlarge and actually see some detail.

the one on the newsite is way better. you can choose to see search results or who is available today on a map rather than  list. quite handy for someone like me who can be up and down the country on the motorway a lot.

Have to agree this feature is pretty cool & extremely useful. Also if in need of a plan b near by can imagine this coming in handy

They've ditched freeviews unless you have a vip membership which is not cheap, in fact if you aren't spending a load monthly it is not worth it.  Thing is you can opt in and out for a month at a time but it is something like £24 a month so maybe worth doing if you intend to spend a bit then call it a day after you have had your look around, any leftover freeviews will then expire I think.  They brought that in without notice and it is very annoying when you think you can have a free shufty at some videos or pics and lo and behold they've expired with your membership.

The new AW site is absolutely woeful.  It simply didn’t need changing.  They’ve left this half and half system for a year now, I hope they just put it in the bin.

I also need to use a VPN now because of the online safety thing which defaults me to Sweden.  It then means I have to switch to the normal site to change country.

As I can’t leave it open on my phone I have to mess around with this for 5 mins every time I want to use it.

My use of AW has fallen off a cliff.

For me too.

Previously, every time I wanted to look at a profile link I would need to log in and then within minutes of the AW in idle, I would be auto logged out just as I would go back to the profile. Now as soon as I click on a profile link I am automatically logged into AW with full functionality. I am finding this much more useful this feature.
