So I'm getting my hepatitis B jab in a few days, thought could be a good idea.

Wonder what % of you guys have decided to get this, I believe it is a course of 3 jabs over a period of time.

I had that about 25 years ago, though I recall only one jab.

I remember it as 2 injections about 2 or 3 months apart, then a blood test, and if you didn't have the right level of immunity a 3rd injection. I was in a job that carried a higher risk of coming into contact with body fluids at the time, so it may have been different to what the general public got.

I have received the vaccination, initial course involved 3 injections because the GUM weren't happy with the immunity levels, they've occasionally topped it up since then.

Of course there's no side effects. What did you expect - your skin to turn yellow and your shit turn white?
It's a long established well understood treatment

To be fair I thought that about the Meninigitis B vaccine, but experience quite noticeable side effects lasting 5 days - both doses. However course completed and no need to repeat.

The Men B vaccine for me gave me a sore arm for a week, it is a deep one! Ended up paying for it, well worth it
