You (and SPs) say the risk is "very low"...  Can you quantify the risk, or give statistics, or point to research studies?

I've had a glance around health websites and they say nothing about the risk being low, also list the STIs that you can contract. But according to an SP on this thread: "RO or "eating out" is probably one of the safest sexual acts other than a handjob."  I simply don't accept that!

I always try to do this in a polite and civil manner and where possible provide links.

I had actually started to type a reply to explain why cunnilingus is considered a low risk activity. It is not ‘no risk’ but it is graded low risk compared to other sexual activities. This included a link.

However, I reread your post which confirmed my initial perception that it was both aggressive and deliberately confrontational.

I also felt that 'logically' you couldn’t possibly think that the experience of one punter and which, if accurate, was clearly a highly unusual outlier, would outweigh the accepted body of medical/scientific opinion.

Then I noted your continued attack on SP’s and also the highly illogical view that self-interest would also outweigh the same body of evidence.

I came to the conclusion that I was wasting my time as you clearly had another agenda and were being deliberately provocative.

So I didn’t post it and thought 'fuck it'.

I note you also appear to be exhibiting this same deliberately confrontational ‘rant’ style of post in Scutty’s ‘Parlour arrest’ thread.

It gives a breakdown in comparative risks by sexual activity, together with an explanation of the complexity of trying to establish individual risks. It is in table form and the risks are in descending order. It also attempts to demonstrate differences when barrier methods are used.

EDIT I forgot to add in relation to Herpes and HPV they are IMO unavoidable in terms of you being exposed. Condoms will mitigate risk but not eliminate it. If as an individual these viruses are of concern to you, then abstinence is the only option.

Regards dams, I have some. My experience as recipient or RO using a dam is of zero sensation, the dam flattens everything. Also I need friction to obtain pleasure, dam eliminates any possibility of friction.
