Just a heads up that thw well known apartment block that the rotating group of Thais work from by the M60 is checking people in and out.

Just got turned away in an awkward encounter by two lads in the foyer. Residents clearly cottoned on to what's going on on the first floor!

Yeah, I was there this week, I got asked what I was doing, I just said I was visiting a friend ...not sure there's much they can do if you have a code...

Yeh I tried that one and they asked for specifics such as which apartment and who lives there and they shot me down 🤦🏻‍♂️😅

A few people around so couldn't be arsed with the potential drama so just got off.

Yeah, it can be awkward. To be fair, when I went, there were couple of guys standing around outside waiting for texts..must be a fair few prossies working from there

I know it's not easy to think on your feet but i've previously thought about what to say if asked for specifics like a name or flat number and would hope to say along the lines of "Sorry I can't give that sort of information out for security reasons as I have no idea who you are and it may endanger their safety, GDPR etc"

I guess if the girls don't get any trade then they won't rent there again so the issue goes away

The thing is that people get ever so touchy about a prossie working near them but how often do punters entering / leaving cause any trouble

Punters just want to get in and out without any fuss

Personally i'd be far more worried if there was loud music / shouting / arguing / groups of teenagers hanging around / illegal e-bikes / drug dealing / underage drinking / antisocial behaviour etc etc etc

The 2 guys I saw looked like older student types, one was friendly but the other guy looked like he had the hump about something, they looked like they we're doing some cleaning up in the reception area....the grumpy guy asked me if I lived there....i said I was visiting a friend and just walked off. If he'd have pushed it I'd have told him to do one..he didn't have a uniform or name tag so presume he wasnt front of house...he didn't push it but maybe that's down to me looking a bit like Jack Reacher....

i have been a regular visitor to this apartment block and never had a problem so far.

Glad this site flags up stuff like this so I will be more attentive when i next visit...unless they all move to another part of the town when i get the horn

I was there just over a week ago. No issues then, there was a young guy on reception in the foyer. I just said Hi Mate and he reciprocated, got through the door with the code. No questions thankfully. Sounds like things have changed.

Sounds like the same pair of killjoys. They had a table set up with a register type signing in book and I just thought "fuck it, not worth the awkwardness for a pump and dump".

Let's hope the ladies relocate close by 🤞🏻

Unsure how I would approach this one a given day I could be likely to tell them to fuck off or just walk off.
With the rise of community facebook pages and the like wouldn't want to end up on somewhere like that.

Looks like the tactics may have worked as there are now no Thai girls working from these apartments this week, from what I can see on AW and VS.

Shame as i had numerous visits, most mainly good, here.

I was planning to visit one there today, so it looks like Plan B

Only problem with something like this is that you generally won't know where a girl is working from before booking, making it difficult to avoid a place when something like this is going on.

Looks like the scare tactics worked as now we have gone from having a few good regular touring Thai's available at this location on a weekly basis to none in Stockport at all!

Shame as that location was good.
