I cancelled an overnight with a girl I'd seen before but was unreliable (about 2 meets out of every 3 was a no show or very late cancellation, including once assuring me she was so her way but a bit late, only to finally cancel 2 hours after the arranged meet time).
Anyway, she said she would need a deposit for the overnight. Fine. But she never actually gave me bank details despite me reminding several times. I took that to mean not certain to come. Eventually I decided that wasn't good enough for £2k of my hard earned so I cancelled the accommodation whilst I could still get a partial refund.
Then inevitably she confirms we're definitely on,and went a bit ballistic when I said sorry but we aren't.
She was great fun and really friendly when we did meet, but just too flakey. That's fine for shorter meets but there came a point where it ground my gears that she was (from my POV) being so casual about such a large sum, to the point I knew I'd be pissed off about it even if it did happen.
