why on earth do prossies put this on there profiles, firstly its a bit rich when one considers how much time wasting they inflict on us.

Secondly, and the reason for my post, surely by writing this they actually attract time wasters, I know if I was looking to indulge it would be like a red rag to a bull.

Oh and don't bother responding if you've nothing valid to contribute - catagorically no time wasters please!!!!

The reason why is if someone is deliberately wanting to be a timewaster with desires to do it just to irk the girl. Having that note on the profile means they know it will get to her so it will actually mean they will want to do it to her.

Its like having a sign on your front door saying "no burglars please" this will actually attract burglars as it will give people the impression that there is stuff wothy of steealing and that its easy to break into.

On the other side with the warning of no timewasters, it makes the girl look bad and offputting as it makes her look like she has a short frustration fuse and is not easy going type girl (everyone is looking for a happy go lucky type girl to book with, not someone who gets annoyed and frustrated easily).

And it also makes people nervous about asking legitimate questions of prebooking incase they worry the girl will flip out thinking they are just another timewaster so as a result they don't book at all.

So in all intents and purposes its the worst thing to include on a profile for every different possible reason.

That's been baffling me for a long time - what a gormless thing to put in a profile. Almost guarantees calls from guys who are just bored and want to stuff somebody about. Has to be self-defeating and puts a target on your back that says "kick me, I'm stupid".

 In thirty-odd years of punting I think I've hardly ever met a Prostitute who couldn't easily have improved her marketing/business plan etc and make more money for the same or even less effort.
Girls who don't display a phone number and insist that we book through AW "to cut out the timewasters"  as if a timewaster couldn't fill in a booking form like the rest of us

It's not there to deter guys who are genuine time wasters i.e. those who deliberately set out to fuck prossies about (not in a good way).

It's to make those guys doing it to get a thrill/thinking about it/choosing one of many to consider what they're doing.

Time wasting prossies are the bain of a punter's life, but so are time wasting punters, regardless of their reasons. Even genuine punters waste prossie's time and it effects us all.

Good point. They do tend to have more rules and regulations about organising a punt and are particularly good at not telling us those rules and regulations are - then get pissed when we text instead of calling before submitting a booking request at precisely 11:22 and only when there is an S in the month. 

As for time wasters, they are going to do it anyway. I would have thought prossies going out of their way to warn against it just represent more of a challenge and more potential satisfaction from fucking them about.

Shops get lots of people wandering in to have a look every day. But, I can't imagine one that would be dumb enough to hang a sign on the door stating that if you weren't definitely going to buy something you weren't allowed in.
