Has anyone turned up to a door of a punt or street and had a bad gut feeling and turned back and walked. It happened to me today. I was on the phone to an English escort. I could hear people in the background. I was about to walk down her street then my gut feeling said this ain’t right and walked. She then decides to call me off multiple mobile phone numbers which I end up blocking

Hey Metalgear2018, I know what you mean. I have been there many a time before. Read some of my reviews like for AlexinSin. I ended up walking as the look and the interaction was not there.
External Link/Members Only or External Link/Members Only and https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=435950.msg4315466#msg4315466.

Also my review of CzechnymphoParis https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=436776.0 where I walked as well as I did not have the feeling or communication skills.

Many a time I just did the polite thing and went for it and later regretted it as I went in with a negative or not thrilled mind set so I did not enjoy it. There were other times I realised in hindsight I was in a dangerous environment but little head was doing the thinking and made big head oblivous to more red flags than a commie parade.

Go with your gut. There is thousands of years of evolution has gone into that gut feeling. If its telling you something then listen to it. Its there for a reason.

Dont ever sweat it. I am with you brother.

I've done this once. Called SP, she said come at so-and-so time. I turned up, waited across the street as I texted her that I was there and waiting. 2 minutes later a guy walks out and it's obvious it's a punter and immediately she texts to tell me to come on up.

I just felt this horrible feeling of sloppy seconds and decided to get off the conveyor belt there and then. I texted her to apologies, made my excuses and went to get a beer instead. That experience actually put me off punting for a while.

Yes we all know conveyor belts happen, but seeing the guy walk out 1 minute before I'm asked to come up - that's not for me.  :vomit:

I say always go with your gut, it is hardly ever wrong

Offline Punterperson1971

Yep I did few years back turned up and was at door and I heard voices which sounded male so walked, then about 2 months ago and got given an address and it was bad I mean really bad, padlock on door etc so walked, and then a while ago arranged a booking near me and walked it there and there was a group of males and females outside door I was given(she was Romanian) so I walked straight past all these ones I walked because It didn’t feel right or not safe.
Always go with your gut instinct

I’ll play devils advocate.

You’ve placed a booking. The SP is expecting you but because there are some people outside of the entrance door……. Your gut feeling says don’t go through with it and you walk.

So the SP has lost a booking through no fault of her own. 🤷🏼

Is that a good thing ?

Don’t get me wrong here I’m a great admirer of gut feelings. But just walk cos you’ve heard voices. I bet a lot of us have punted not knowing there was someone else in the house, flat…. Whatever.

Except you don't know for certain that he was her punter. I met one coming out the door but turned out to be another girl in the flat too and it was her punter leaving. Unfortunately it was a shite punt, so I'd have been better walking, but that's a different story.

First impressions are nearly always correct.
Just assume if it feels wrong, it is wrong. Best way to stay safe.

Gut feeling, always. If the SP has promised DFK I always make a point of checking up front. Slightest bit of hesitation is always a tell for me and if in doubt I will walk. Also, someone with a face like a smacked arse is a tell. I recently saw Sofia Blonde and she greeted me with a huge beaming smile and I immediately knew I was in for a good time.

I ve never phoned a Walk Up the clue is in the name  ;)   Ive often waited... in side with maid as the WG dealt with Punter before me and enjoyed the conversation with maids over the sounds of Punter going for it :D :D

Punting is not for the faint of heart or squeamish  ;) But it can be great fun following in if the WG is one of those that enjoys the numbers game  :kissgirl: I have respect for the Soho Gals as to do several guys an hour and eat a sandwich and coffe then do the next batch is something us guys are just not capable of doing.

I started in Walk up and probally will end my punting days with a heart attack in one too :scare:    Its a shame they are being turned in to gentreyficated studio flats     My first one cost me £10 plus 50p tip the last one early in year cost me £30 plus 2 quid tip the first was rushed then allowed a second go the last was a prefunctionary wank up and in in mish for a few strokes I surpose thats the diffrence between a fit 16 year old in the 1970`sand a pot bellied balding 64 year old in 2025  :( :( :(

Offline The Vicar of Dibley

Early in my punting career I rang a number off of Gumtree for a FBSM. No one answered the phone but I got a text with a menu and postcode.
I texted back with my menu selection and a time. Got a text back agreeing. I went to the postcode and realised it was a housing estate not a shop on a street. Once I had been texted the actual house number it occurred to me that I had not spoken to an actual person as yet and the texts looked very cut and paste rather than answers to my question.
The girl who answered the door in a huge fluffy dressing gown looked like she had just woken up. The room was split into two by some sort of rope with sheets hanging off of it and there was a waste bin overflowing with tissues. I suspected there was someone on the other side of the rope partition.

I told her I had made a mistake, gave her £20 and ran. Binned the sim on the way home.

Same thing happens to WGs on outcalls I think.

A couple have told me stories of sketchy late night outcalls with pretty much the exact same scenario.

If they're lucky, their taxi/car/transport is still waiting for them.

I’m not sure any of the SP’s I’ve seen would be heading out to some strange place for an outcall.
They would be needing more info for their own safety and protection.

😂.  Yep done all these things Dave.
Heading upstairs in some walk up in Shepherds Market (half cut).    Meeting the bloke coming down. Hardly any room to squeeze by and getting the,
“I wouldn’t fuckin bother mate. Me nans younger” 😂

Can’t be all that many years back I was sitting having a cup of tea with the maid in a flat in Tolworth. After I finished she told me I could go up and get ready in the front room. It was the main bedroom and better.
I’m just sitting on the bed taking my shoes off and the shouting and wailing coming through the wall from the other bedroom.  “I’m cumming, I’m cumming….. arghhhhh “

And that was the bloke.  :D

Absolutely, I had a request on the weekend for an outcall last night (Tuesday) all he sent was 'can you come visit me' my reply was yeah but give me a clue when and where 🤔, next message was just outside xxxx xxxx town, I replied with 🤣🤣🤣 and thats no good to me try this information....
Date
Time
Location type, hotel/house/apartment etc
Shared or own place
Duration

He came back with oh yeah its a shared hotel room I can ask my workmate to go out....
Ummm thats a no from me mate  (tbf once explained he understood and actually came to me)

But I get all sorts as do many of us, especially in the cities, I get just a postcode  or 10pm at mine or outcall now.

I swear they think we are psychic and will go anywhere, I've had to abandon an outcall just once due to location feeing really off on arrival and I've gone through with one I shouldn't have as it was screaming at me on arrival,  I was ok but it caused me a bloody nightmare for months afterwards trying to get away from that client and his stalkers tendencies

Gut feeling for both sides is vital, if the area feels unsafe or the comms seem weird and the gut is saying back out then go with that everything, we have that gut feeling because it keeps us safe.

I'd have quoted you and Steve but for the love of God I cannot work out how to do multiple quotes in the same post

We all need to trust our gut feelings, its why we have them.

I obviously read reviews on here, I browse most areas and have a read of mostly negative reviews tbh and those from other escorts I know and some of the things I read im like  :scare: :scare: why on earth did you not run for the hills ffs at what point was the sea of red flags or the seriously dodgy area or property not make you want to turn round  :dash:

I often read statements like....my gut was telling me this wasn't going to be good but I went ahead anyway  :dash:

Just no

Yeah happened with me in my first years of punting, met a romanian wg. Entered the flat could here numerous other people (male and female) talking (not in English).  In the room alone with the WG, after about 30 seconds I thought I'm getting seriously bad vibes and just said I can't do this and walked out.

Usually when an ugly cunt that does not resemble the person in her ad whatsoever opens the door I politely decline and walk.

Oh the number of times I’ve left a lass breathless.

Where’s the blue inhaler. Try to relax, calm down. Six or seven puffs should do it.

Hang on……. That reminds me of a club I used to go too.

I'm 60 to your 64....

I started visiting walk ups in 1988 or 1989, can't remember exactly.  It was  £20, and a quid for the maid. The SPs still used the terms "French" and "Greek"... A hangover from when the girls were outside on the street before a change in the law during the 1960s, and they didn't want to spell out their services to any passer by who might over hear them talking to a punter. The SP would then take the bloke upstairs.

There were about 30 "doors" when I started  punting walk ups.

My favourites were in Moor Street. I've spent some of the happiest hours of my life in Moor Street walk ups (I could pop four times a day back then)!

When I last walked by, they had all been knocked through to form a Z Hotel.  I nearly cried!

I thought the walk ups would be around forever.

But all things pass.
