Usually stay near Sukhumavit 15, so near a lot of action in the evenings, but the usual hotel has now been taken over. Where would you recommend, nice hotel but in walking distance of bars, girls, massage etc

have a look at the many threads in the "Punting Abraod - Asia " board *. Many suggestions there - but basically any hotel that shows on a map somewhere near or between soi cowboy and Nana (soi 4).

I usually stay at the Citadines Hotel on soi 8 - its set back a bit so very quiet at night, its Premier Inn standard, has a small pool, and is guest friendly. It also has a free 24 hour tuktuk to and from the hotel to Sukhumvit road. I normally book my first 2 nights ahead and then decide where and when to go and if wanting to stay longer never had a problem . But loads of others around too.

when are you going?

I would suggest you give a budget per night pal. As I’m sure your aware there is a huge variation of places in that area

I usually stay at the Ambassador on 11. Nice pool, and the newer wing rooms are nice.

Had two stays on my last trip Bangkok.
Night Hotel Bangkok - Asoke Sukhumvit 15..
5 mins BTS and Terminal 21 shopping centre and cash exchange.
3 mins from Cafe Thermae  :yahoo: and all the freelancers. Nice restaurants near.
£40 ish per night

Offline Swapmeister

Re Ambassador, prices are usually £40-45 a night when I look. Imagine a large hotel equipped for conventions business that never materialised ie lobby coffee area that is never open, restaurant that is never full. This aside, the rooms are big and clean but a bit dated.

A bit further on Soi 11is the Airia. Rooms are typically £70. If £25 extra a night is no big deal to you then I recommend this for a Soi 11 hotel.

Soi 4 is where Nana Plaza is located. 5min walk is Novatel/Ibis. Same building but different Reception and each have rooms are on different floors. Ibis is cheaper brand (about £45 pn) so rooms are smaller. Sound proofing is terrible. You can hear guys walking down the corridors all the time .Its selling point is that it is clean and is near to Nana and there are plenty of street talent outside.

I usually stay at one of above mentioned hotels when I visit the city

Does the pool at night hotel get a lot of sun? Annoyingly lots of hotels in Bangkok the pools are shaded from the sun for large parts of the day

Not hotel recommendation but i was based recently On Soi 13,
Little trick I learned was that as u turn left off the Soi walking towards Soi Cowboy
You can walk up some steps to the skytrain link and walk all the way to terminal 21 shopping centre
This has 2 benefits, it’s a lot cooler up there as it has a bit of a breeze and also less hassle from the ‘massage, pimps, lady boys etc’ if u want less hassle for 5 minutes

I stayed at the novotel on Soi 4 (Nana) in January. Great location. 3-4min walk to Nana Plaza, plenty of street walkers outside available form 5-6pm onwards till 3-4am easily. All girls very impressed when they walk into your room. No hassle from reception at all. Very clean. Walkable to Soi11, Annalise massage and many other massage shops 2-5min walk away. 2 very well known BJ bars about a 3min walk down the side road next to the hotel. 7/11 directly opposite.

Yes, it get the sun.. not the biggest pool in the world 10 sun beds and a jacuzzi at one end with bar and small restaurants.. the hotel has two parts. One part has the pool on top and the other has the restaurant and large restaurant in it.. I crossed the road to go to the pool, not a problem.

For the last few years, I've always stayed in Soi 11 at the Travelodge. Nice swimming pool on the roof, along with a small gym if that's your thing. Breakfast is quite good, if you get up early enough, and I would recommend you ask to stay in the poolside building. That way, if you're like myself, you don't have to pass the reception, and take your nights entertainment straight up to your room without anyone knowing your business.

Anyone had any experienceof the Royal Benji Hotel near Nana Plaza? It's got mixed reviews in the same vein as many other hotels but seems fairly priced for a 5*(?) Hotel.
I do presume it's "girl friendly".

I will be in Bangkok mid November.

Hi Ron what are the BJ bars called ?  :hi:

The best one I went to from personal experience was Lolitas, but I must say the girls are all mid-looking roughly (4-6/10) and slightly older but I had the best throat experience from this mid 30, slightly chubby girl in a school girl uniform, she was so sloppy and let me put my hand on the back of her head and facefuck her relentlessly till I cummed and she spat it in a tissue. Took place on a sofa behind a curtain, multiple curtained off areas in the room.

Others I sampled and had great experiences;
- 7-heaven, modern and iPad set up - can be a bit of a queue
- Dungporn
- Wood bar (not real lookers but Mamassan very accommodating, brought out a line up of about 15 girls and asked what I was looking for - ‘balls deep sloppy head and cum in mouth’, handpicked 2 girls for me to pick from - picked a slim Thai, mid 30’s, small tits but killer eye contact during the head.

All girls rotate regularly at all the places (as in line ups refresh).

Lolitas in closest bj bar to Novotel/Ibis on Nana Soi4 area.

I would also highly recommend, I think it’s called Analisa massage BKK - about a 1-2min walk from the hotels mentioned above - had a milking table in all room (a hole for your face and a hole for your little man on the table - eg; a hole for both heads) - I had 2-3 massages there, a 4hand massage also - great service.

Kasalong is the other BJ place close to Lolita's just through the Soi 8 to Nana shortcut on the left.  :hi:

Yes that’s the one! It was opened by an ex-Lolitas worker, they run similar models. Personally the girls from Lolitas were better lookers (and the school uniform outfit was worn by them all) - but still 5/10’s mainly.

Do you mean Royal Benja? If so, that was the first hotel I stayed at many moons ago. It was my regular hotel because of location  but I stopped using it because 1) it was becoming incredibly dated inside and 2) they wanted to charge me extra when a female friend wanted to come up to my room for 5 minutes to get something I was donating to an orphanage. They were such arseholes about her coming up to the room that I swore I'd never go back. Shame though, as it's a short walk from Gulliver's and there used to be the best noodle stand outside the 7/11 on the same soi.

Hands down the best sleep quality I have had for a hotel in Thailand has been at Night Hotel Bangkok - Asoke Sukhumvit 15 (Formerly dream hotel). Its about half way between Nana and Asoke, so easily walkable to both, also walkable to several BJ bar's and massage places.

Yes I meant the Royal Benja and thanks  for the useful  information about the place.
I will now book somewhere else near Nana Plaza.
Any recommendations?

The Westin Grande Sukhumvit has an amazing location - appreciate this maybe at the top end of budgets at £130 per night - but for folk staying for a few days, puts you right in the middle of the action.

Their pool and gym are great - the Spa, where you’d not expect an offer of FS, surprised the hell out of me!

Offline Poet

I like staying at western grand Asoke too … good fun walk every evening along to Anna … few too many African brasses but lots of freelancers to check out.

It’s a good hotel, perfect for both as said above and you can also get on a grab bike and take the back route to Nana with out sitting in the hideous Sukhumvit traffic with a 7/11 just up the road.

Aspen Suites on Soi 2.  Typically around £35-40 per night.  Large spacious rooms.  Good value for money for a 3 star hotel and a stones throw from Nana Plaza so centrally located.

its less than £2.50 so hardly significant.

although there is of course a number of massage places, bars and other things outside this range, most of the main action is in Nana (soi 4) or soi cowboy and inbetween. so a hotel in the middle seems to me to be a good idea. especially as Thermae Cafe, lots of bars and massage places and the shopping mall Terminal 21 is in between.

Where i stay on soi 8 is 5 or 6 minutes walk to Nana one way, and maybe10 minutes walk to soi cowboy the other way. There are lots of hotels around there - and to meet all budgets. Personally i like a quieter spot to stay with no noise at night. A few minutes walk down one of the soi's takes you away from the 24 hour hussle and bussle of sukhumvit road. Many hotels down these side soi's have a free 24 hour tuktuk service to take you from the hotel to the junction with sukhumvit road. My usual hotel (Citadines soi 8) is about 6 minutes walk down soi 8 which i have ! done late at night and always felt safe but usually just call up for the tuktuk. so imo you get the best of both worlds - being in amongst the "action" but a quiet spot with no noise at night. soi 8 also has a selection of street foods if you like that  - especially in the morning and lunchtime - they park in front of some cafe/bars that don't open until later afternoon and evening.

we all have our own ideas of "best" - there is no right or wrong answer of course. Just options and personal preference.

citadines is a good option, away from the hustle and bustle on main area. Althouh a bit of a walk from main road but I did it at 3AM many times and felt safe. You can whatsapp reception to send the tuktuk or just pay 50 baht for a ride available readily.

I didn't take a girl back to my room during my stay  but if I had, there is no Security/Concierge between the entrance and the lifts??? Maybe it was some hotel worker trying his luck

Sounds very unofficial if only asking for 100 baht

Most people book rooms for 2 people then u can bring a guest back no hassle, u not do this?

having read a few hotel policies it’s usually 500 baht for a non paying guest

So think someone’s had your pants down, as well as the girl taken back

Pre covid I did see a security guy at the lifts to the tower block but never asked. A couple of times I've had girls come up and meet me in my room and they've always got in fine.

Not been to Bangkok yet, but I am planning on going in the next year or two when my retirement has gone through.  The thought of so many girls being available to just get up and go sounds divine.

On hotels generally I thought it was a useful protection that reception or security would keep hold of her ID rather than you just going straight to your room?

Offline Swapmeister

Most of the street gals dress like they are going to a night club as opposed to some truck stop wg. So, is the hotel really going to challenge a middle aged white guy who may be with his wife?

You may be thinking of UAE where showing an Emirates ID or passport is a usual procedure.

It was night time so the other entrance was closed, I had to go through the main entrance and whilst the main reception was closed there was a small reception near the entrance, it might have been the concierge or the night reception staff that took the girl's ID and 100baht cash.
